No idea... We have an extensive list of work but need to prioritise what's most important from a safety point of view

Here's a novel idea, why not use them on the floodlight pylons to replace the ones that don'tboyliegladbach wrote:Well worth getting all them lights off Everton then.spirit of 1990 wrote: If anyone has any ideas what might be done with approximately twenty large floodlights currently awaiting a new home please get in touch with Ian Rainford.

I was told there were no refreshments this week end and was bringing my flask (and a china breaker as I don't like drinking out of cardboard cups---didn't happen in my time).spirit of 1990 wrote:There'll be another crack at all that rubble this Sunday, if you feel you could help out we'll be there from 9:00am. If wheel-barrowing a couple of ton of builders rubble isn't your thing, there's the more sedate job of painting of the managers office.....nothing fancy, just rollering a few coats of paint on the walls, there's also the segregation fence to make, fixing some internal lights, some steps to make for the porta-loo's by the West terrace, there's even the new handrail to put up on the pop side steps or helping to replace & fix some of the broken seats in the main stand.
Teas/coffees, breakfast buns and biscuits will be served by Steph Casson & Emma.
If you want anymore details just pm or reply on here.
BTW, the pitch looks in fantastic shape......Garth & Craig must've been putting some serious hours in to get it looking like that.
Definitely tea's/coffee's/biscuits and breakfast buns on show in the morning Elaine. Steph will be taking the orders and Emma will be picking them up on the way to the ground.Holkerbird wrote:I was told there were no refreshments this week end and was bringing my flask (and a china breaker as I don't like drinking out of cardboard cups---didn't happen in my time).
The office is only small Ian. There's not much room or everyone will be getting in each other's way.spirit of 1990 wrote:Definitely tea's/coffee's/biscuits and breakfast buns on show in the morning Elaine. Another one or two painting in the managers office would be a great help, there's also jobs ranging from fabricating the new segregation fences to pulling up weeds on the terraces to lumping wheelbarrow loads of rubble to the skip.
9:00am onwards.

Don't really know how you can jump to the conclusion of it being permanent when I'm guessing you've seen some photos of it held together with *tie wraps!! but don't let little details like that stop you having a dig.patrickstarfish wrote:Disappointing to see what looks like permanent segregation being installed on the HSE.
