You can count me out as I will have been on 7 trains for this match-thanks to Bahamasbluebird and his cheap travel arrangements. :o

Causes some trouble does that lad....

Forgot to mention, Emma has very kindly offered to take the orders for the breakfast buns.

That's homeless Billy down there then!
I have to sort out 13 train tickets and that's just for myself Ian. I get confused.

We managed without you Elaine.....just.

Cracking morning and early afternoon down there with quite a lot done, especially seeing as a few regulars were missing.

Gareth and Will spent the morning playing on their tractor thing, the pitch is again looking superb, only spoilt by the dead seagull lying on it.

Mrssenoritta and Pete N put up some new advertising boards and also some of the Vanarama boards that have been lying around, it looks like we had some them in the wrong places, so they had to be moved to meet league sponsor requirements. By doing this on a volunteer basis alone saves the club a fair old amount of cash, which in turn must help with the playing budget and even things like the main stand shot blasting and spraying.

Myself, Ryan (who was missing Elaine) and big Al scrapped the loose paint off the reception area car park wall and completely re-painted it all.....the same colour :D I think it looks 80% better and must improve the first impressions of the ground.

Thanks to Emma & her girls for taking the breakfast bun orders and for supplying the brews, Chris A did what Shipwrights do best and did the running around and left the jobs that required a bit of skill to the tradespeople.....like they do in the yard...as toko will testify to.

Quote of the day belonged to Ryan. "you look a bit nervous cutting in around the signs Ryan, should I do that" "I haven't a clue what cutting in is but yeah, you do it"

There was a story off Mrssenoritta that had everyone in stitches.........as much as I'd like to print it, I think it's best left alone as the police might've shown a bit too much interest in it

Great day down there made all the better by being fourth in the table.

Ian, as fantastic a job you guys do down there, Paul Casson made certain promises when he bought the club regarding ground development. It seems to have gone a bit quiet on that front. Is there any news on this or is he waiting for any future grants etc? Not having a dig at anyone as i'm sure it's not an easy task but we really need to start something soon if off field progress is to keep up with on field progress

I hope that dead seagull was strategically dropped in the away team dressing room.

I can't believe you managed without me but I will be there most days this week as I have quite a lot in indoor work to do BUT the part of the ground that really stands out as needing some TLC is that wall by the Trust shop ( it is black), not to mention the two tone colour of the Trust shop. If it is nice weather during the week and I can get access to the masonry paint I will have a go at that. I daren't even think about those seats and my throne.!!!!!!
Well done today lads and Emma and her lovely girls.

The sun's out so it looks like the wall today. Now blue or white? I hate decision making.

I couldn't tell you where the club/Paul is with that Mike. Can you make it to the meeting on Thursday evening? I'm sure he'll give you an answer if asked.
