The club haven’t made a statement regarding this but I can guarantee you they accepted a bid from Bristol Rovers for Whyll, there is a meet the board night scheduled for March id be keen for this question to be asked and why they were willing to sell our number 1 keeper to them in the current position of both clubs.

Ian if it's that bad, then what happens if we get relegated?, 1 million pounds in income gone !, travelling costs doubling attendances would drop ( unless we start well ) grants for ground development no where near the same!, I could go on ,we're playing Russian roulette with our club, can't now play a back 4, playing 3 at the back with 1 wingback !,it's an absolute disaster.

It's the club that loses out not the owners. They would just cut the cloth accordingly and we would have a greatly reduced budget all round. Yes it would be a disaster but the club would and will continue.

Looks like you are presuming the current board would carry on if we were relegated.
Only speculative, but I'd be surprised if they did.

To offer a bit of balance, I read a general League Two forum and apart from maybe Crawley (who've effectively got their promotion gang back together) it is difficult to say anyone towards the bottom have made any signings that make you sit up and take notice. Bristol Rovers signed Joe Quigley from Oldham for a rumoured £150k plus another £100k add ons if they avoid relegation. A quarter of a million for a striker who scored 0 league goals in 37 for Forest Green last season in the division below. A good indicator of the money teams are prepared to throw around when things get desperate.

Nope just stating fact, people on here sometimes are to quick to shoot others down. Im guilty of it to. But sometimes we all have to accept that some on here know more than others
