Ian, I was cleaning the dugouts yesterday and the away dugout seats are very insecure. If someone could have a look at them as they aren't fastened down and are unsafe. We don't want some club putting a clain in for injuries sustained whist sitting down. ;)
Thanks if you can sort this.

Already been spotted Elaine & will be sorted very shortly but thanks for pointing it out.

The amount of time you spend down there you're the ideal person to give us a shout on anything you see that need's attention.

Get them all down there Tommy, it'll all come in for summat.

Just in case anyone doesn't think any old bits of metal they have are worth dropping off - we've had knives, forks, spoon's, an old frame, boxes of old tools all sorts of small items so don't just think it's got to be something that weighs half a ton.

Nothing, there seem's to be a massive shortage of trailers in the town. We can't use the club's skip as it's full, we can't order a skip as it'll cost about £140. We really need some help on this, there's about three/four trailer loads to get down the tip so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not too many offered help for this Sunday morning either, about four or five atm. I can't do too much this week as, as I've said my back's give up but I'll be there to open up from 9:00 AM & to point out job's (I learnt how to do that off my missus!!)
Two or three hour's, it's really not that much is it?
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Are you in desperate need of a skip?

Thanks Elaine, it's a start......anyone else?

It's not "desperate" Mark, it's just we need to get rid of the crap that's building up in the MA as it's starting to get in the way now, it really is unbelievable what was & still is under that stand.
Skip's cost money & what we have gets used up on materials for certain jobs, for instance, Billy Childs bench sould be done by weekend but it's cost £20 - not a great deal in the scheme of thing's but as you can imagine the small float we have soon starts drying up with other bit's & piece's around the ground.

What we really need is two or three trailers & another half a dozen volunteers.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

A very kind offer off a man who has already helped us out raising cash - Dodger has offered to pay the cost of re-furbing Billy Child's bench, that's twenty notes back in the kitty for other job's.

Thank's Dodger.

Volunteer maintenance work is cancelled this Sunday (from my point of view anyway) not enough people to make it worthwhile.

Shame really but numbers have been less & less each visit.

Don't think you'd be able to see the rubbish for the snow John, Ray Mear's would struggle to in that lot.

Well apart from the snow stopping it Tommy there was too much shifting of stuff around - scrap, old metal fencing, big signs - all the heavy type stuff & with my back being creaky at the moment it wouldn't have been fair on the few people who had volunteered.
We'll see if we can sort something else for next week (or possibly the weekend after with next weekend being Easter) if we can get number's & a few trailers, if not it stays as it is.
