Maybe we should play them instead of the first team!

+1

Could they do any worse?!

Excellent result at Burnley, congratulations to all involved.

Well done to the youth development U18 team 2 goods results

Doc & Co development coaches are beginning to produce the goods and each year the kids will be a few % better as they have been coached longer :flag:

The future's bright.

Next U18s game is at home on Monday 21st October against Accrington and rossendale college.

From Holker Street Newsletter 3173 - 10th October

"THERE IS A LIGHT THAT WILL HOPEFULLY NEVER GO OUT
Burnley United 1 Barrow AFC 2 (Bowman, Chick),
from Dan Myles

"Two first-half lobs from Declan Bowman and Jamie Chick sealed three points for the Under 18s after going a goal down to a good Burnley team. A solid defensive display, and some fine saves from goalkeeper Jordan Belcher, after being under pressure for large periods of the second half, saw Barrow take their second win in as many games.

"Next game sees the team take on Accrington & Rossendale College at Holker Street on Monday 21 October, 7.30pm KO. Entry to the game will be £2 for 16+ and free for under-16s."

This will be the lads 3rd game together as U18's and, after winning their first two games against Macclesfield Town and Burnley United (6-3, and 2-1 respectfully), there's a great hunger around the young lads for more!

There were about 175-200 people there for the first home match vs. Macclesfield Town, but it'd be fantastic to see even more coming down! Cheer the next generation on and watch attractive football, for a fraction of the cost of watching the first team

Will try to get down to that probably, seen as I won't be attending a barrow match for the next month or so...

I'll probably head down too.

For the next month or two we're either away or I'm playing on the Saturday so won't be watching us much. Might help me stop falling completely out of love with the club.
