And so we should. We wouldn't have a cat-in-hells chance of winning this competition particularly given that we have two loan players who's deal is up in a few weeks depleting even more an inept and paper-thin squad. Anyone but a JCL would rather have League safety than a fleeting Wembley appearance. Edmo now has the chance to rectify this.

Perhaps this?

At least they'd put some effort in.

Regardless of the manager shit football is all that can be played with this current crop of players.

Edmo will undoubtably clear out a few in January.
Popular side since '03.

The thing is these teams that are beating Barrow aren't very good. That's how bad Barrow are at the moment.

Yes it was dire today. Maidenhead were anonymous until they scored, but once they did we had no idea how to create an equaliser.

IMO only players I'd keep out of this squad (putting to one side who and who isn't contracted for the whole season) are Burns, McMillan, Arnison, Ray-Harvey, Sheridan & possibly Edwards (although he's now a shadow of the player he once was). Don't think Meechan should play again except in an absolute emergency! Lacey is full of endeavour, but simply not good enough.

We're by no means great at the back, but our main problem short-term for me is that we are shot shy. If the budget allows - probably dependent on some of the dross being shipped out - we need a couple of wingers & a decent striker ASAP.

Interesting pre-match comment from a Carlisle director on RC, With the signing of an ex-City youth player plus a loanee from United to go with several others signed in recent weeks, he said the squad is becoming top-heavy and some players may have to be moved out in January. Perhaps some pickings for us.

Doubt we could afford players from that level.

That's enough for me. Can't watch any more of these woeful performances.

The fans on the pop side today a credit to the club. Backing the team and Edmo vocally from kick off.

First game I've seen since September. Crikey, I knew we were bad, but I didn't think we were that bad. Edmondson has got a serious task on his hands if he wants to keep us up.

Not just a bad defeat but a pathetic display. The only footballer we've got is Burns - our best right back in recent years - the rest I'd look to ship out. I know a few on here are behind Arnison, but I've seen him at least 10 times now and he's done little more than [SwearFilter] all in all that time. He's weak, doesn't get in the right spaces and can't even play a short pass. Can't comment on his finishing because I don't think I've ever seen him shoot. The most disappointing signing we've ever made.
People in the stand having a go at supporters for criticising; if you'd paid to see a band and they butchered every song you'd be entitled to boo - this is no different.
Think I've watched my last game of the year now, cos I can't be bothered paying until the form picks up or the squad gets a major overhaul.

Well that was utter dog-shit again! Really wonder if many players really want to be here. Seems to be an exercise in turning up and picking up a wage packet.

Truly the worst team I have ever seen. Not fair for Edmo to inherit such a [SwearFilter] poor bunch!

I went home early again. Wondering if I'll go nest week!?

Absolutely unacceptable, this all goes back to the fact the Board did not get rid of Bayliss this time last year, I blame the Board completely, I fear we may be already in a position we can't rectify.

Edmo as my full backing and I feel he will be making changes. One thing is certain the players who go have no one to blame but themselves. Arnison as let down big time, but he aint the only one.
