That's a very very good result - well done lads.

What a fantastic result, absolutely buzzing.

Even before we scored we were playing some really good football, football that shouldn't have been possible in them conditions.
If NF put as much effort into playing football instead of moaning at virtually everything they'd have won the game 0-10, struggle to remember a team that whinged so much. Spoke to Exile at H/T & he said their directors were just the same.
Happy to get the pen decision as it could easily have been waved away in them conditions. As to whether the ball went over the line just afterwards - not sure, I do think the ref was right not give it as he was unsighted & the liner didn't have the best of views either.
Well taken second goal by Nick who was a constant threat to them as was Marsh but he ran himself into the ground & probably welcomed being took off. Nick was unlucky not to get his hat trick towards the end.

Hope Burns is ok as he looked pretty ill (not injured) as he walked off (just listening to Edmo on the radio as writing this & he said he's ok, perhaps doesn't eat enough before games & sometimes makes himself ill)

Good noise from the pop side AND the main stand....great times at HS again.

Yes. It was announced that the 176 was part of the 963.

That's the most I've enjoyed a game for a couple of seasons, proper battle the atmosphere on the popside was brilliant, a million miles from December when I left after 35 mins in the 6-0 debacle. Happy days are here again and people are going home with a smile on their face, well done to all involved in the Edmolution.

The icing on the cake was number 9 getting his marching orders, it's a long road back to Hull when you've spat the dummy out, a team with the wingeing capabilities of a premier league outfit

These sort of wins always carry the greatest satisfaction. What a great composed finish for the second.

Crowd played their part again today, backing the team from the start.

Really enjoying the way fans and team have galvanised under Edmo.

Team are a joy to watch, gritty determined effort from them all. Special praise to Williams who never missed a thing all afternoon, what a transformation in the lad. NF were a well beaten side.

Every season we play a bunch of whingers, always in the refs ear and sulking when things don't go their way. This season it was this lot. Well done Barrow for staying cool. it won us the game. I'd hate it if a Barrow side whined like that.

Outstanding today can honestly say brilliant performance... Paddy Lacey was outstanding in the engine room been a reformed character since edmo took over.. Was also very impressed with marsh a lot off intelligent runs and nice touches! Them two look good up top.

Excellent result but the poor pitch took a hammering today. We could well be playing on sand for the rest of the season after that. Rained most of the game, heavy at first then lighter as the game progressed. Swirling wind was not quite as bad as the Leamington game.

N.Ferriby looked a decent side but Barrow managed to limit them in chances, McMillan equal to anything they sent his way. Looking at the penatly, from the angle I was looking at it looked like the defender just managed to touch the ball but had fouled getting his touch. I'm scratching my head as to why he was not even shown a card. Did I miss something. He was the last man and he stopped a goal scoring opportunity. Red card surely. Couldn't believe it, ahead again and looking good enough to win. The ball bobbled and the keepers clearance went straight to Rushton. He tried to round the keeper and had an open net to shoot at but he hung on to it and the keeper drove him wide and eventually it was cleared. That and a goal line clearance, from right on the line a while later and it looked like more goals would come Barrows way. A few long range efforts from N.Ferriby straight at McMillan and a cross/shot pulled right across the six yard box reminded us all that they were a decent side capable of creating openings despite the conditions.

Unlike the 1st half in which Barrow gave N.Ferriby no space on the ball and pushed up, they seemed to open up and spread out in the 2nd. This gave the visitors a lot of space to move around and although the ball was sticking they managed to pressure Barrow, helped with a handful of free kicks and that fact the ref let a lot go in both directions. Cribley came on and shot just past the post and Barrow looked dangerous on the break, while N.Ferriby looked decent in midfield but only managed to fashion one clear cut chance in the 2nd. A low shot from the right, McMillan saving down low and Reynolds (?) picking it up and clearing. Barrow went 2-0 up when Rushton latched onto trough ball, made easier as the defender nearest to him slipped, not that he could have intercepted the pass. He raced clear and finished from the edge of the area 1-on-1. Their No9 was shown a red after he was fouled by Reynolds and he retaliated. It could have been worse for N.Ferriby as there was also late challenge (so late it was really off the ball) that resulted in a yellow for one of there players. He could easily have been given a red as well.

Good battling performance from Barrow and shows that we can live with the best of them. They were in a bad mood were N.Ferriby, clearly upset by everything. I'd agree with some comments about N.Ferriby being a bunch of whingers. Would like to think it is an exaggeration but I can't remember any decision that was not met with some complaint from at least one (usually 3 or more) of there players. They also committed the cardinal sin of surrounding the ref and trying to bully him at every opportunity in the 1st.

Roll on Worcester, another team recently from the bottom now doing rather well.

Now that was a proper game of football!!

Outstanding effort from the whole squad, magnificent atmosphere - nothing like a whining team to get the crowd bouncing!!
