Why no mention from Macclesfield of any problems or inspections?
Did Macclesfield ask Barrow to have the game called off so they could concentrate on Fridays FA Cup match and we refused?

I think anyone with an ounce of common sense could see that this game would be called off in view of today's temperatures and forecasts for this evening and overnight. Should have been called off this morning.

BARROW: Macclesfield Town say there are 'no pitch concerns' and game is currently set to go ahead https://t.co/Rg9NSeRCw3

Getting closer......only 4 out this time.....its only going to be -2. :D

Seriously, we predicted this days ago, Macc tweeted no probs with pitch etc......This smells a bit.
Do they pay our expenses? Coach left this afternoon. Players either on route or already there....

Only positive, we will be fresher for Bristol...

They are a pathetic club - this is revenge for when our game was called off late in the FA cup because of a frozen pitch

Feel for those that travelled

Macc have frost covers and one night of frost and it's off - no hint of this all day pathetic

BBC currently say the temp is 0 falling to -1 later. Such a late postponement really stinks. If we progress further in the cups then fixture congestion may be a real problem. Who was the ref who called it?

Their manager Askey said on Saturday when the game against Dover eas abandoned due to fog, quote, "That is the worst decicsion I have ever seen" They were 1 _ 0 up at the time........ surprising that !!!!!! What a bunch of tosserts. I hope they go bust.
They should re emburse the club and fans the cost of waisted travel. No pre announcements about pitch inspections, [SwearFilter]

They will have to pay Barrow's expenses but how much of this was deiberately done out of spite because we didn't agree about trying to get the game rearranged due to THEIR Cup match on Friday?
