You could be right HenneysKnee. But young players don't often shine when there is pressure all around. He will be back later and even better. I'm sure he will provide a good return for BAFC. Paul and scouts will unearth new raw talent and the development factory will keep going.

We are in a bit of a downward blip right now. Nothing more than that. It looks all gloom for a bit. Every team has its moments. But we will bounce back.

got told a strong rumour in the harbour after sat game that cassons wont let go til replacement found. williams unhappy at barrow has trained with fleetwood already this season.

Rumor of fact stillthman. I think that sort of information will stay close to a few people in the club close to Casson. I cannot imagine it being freely discussed in the Harbour, do you?

Fleetwood have first option like.

Would be a lot cheaper over summer for a potential signing.

Most teams lucky enough to have £100k in their transfer budget have smashed that in the summer.

Can see Williams going for a lot less in the summer

You may be right a former member of this forum. But imagine if Williams stays until the end of the season and helps BAFC to get promoted. We may lose him on a free then, but gain £1M by getting promotion to the football league. Not bad business proposition at £900k net. ~ I'm sure Casson became a millionaire by trading off deals like this in his business.

He has another year on his contract from the summer.

If I gave you my source Id no longer have a source for the future would I?

Basically we have Akil Wright on loan as a sweetener for Fleetwood to have first refusal on Mr Williams. Its been effective since we turned down their bid in pre season.

Casson and Pilley have a good relationship through having similar interests and experience
