Strange move this and just how much will Barrow be saving on wages.
Sutton are a part time club so I cannot see them paying anything like the money Byron is on at Barrow.
That means Barrow could still be paying a big chunk of Byron's wages.

Harrison was a no show in the league. He didn’t score many. Cox gave him a go and it worked last season. This season he hasn’t been as good .
London based players are not going to remain up north. Moussa may follow him along with gomis.
We have a southern based management team now which let’s be honest how long is that going to last?
In conclusion Harrison was a good striker who went off on the field and geographically.
Best of luck Byron if you’re reading but somehow I don’t think you will be.
Pressure on holt and white now..... are you good enough to keep us up???
Over to you.

Thanks Byron, I for one wish you well!! A striker of quality is hard to find at any level, but a good deal for the club and a very good deal for the player.

6K a month. I hope Sutton are paying all of it !!!!
Gone missing this season and his body language is dreadful.
Still, he was the best striker we had and fear for the rest of the season looking at our striking options we have left.
Hope Ady brings one in next week but guess this has been done to cut the budget

I assume Ady knows what is best for the team. I had a hunch that last week's team selection was based on who were the 11 best triers who would get stuck in, rather than who were the best players.

Ridiculous decision to let our top scorer go when we're in a relegation scrap. Who's gonna score goals now.
Yes he's had a poor season so far compared to last, what do you expect with no service at all.
With the new lad James & Byron up front, could have seen some improved performances/goals being scored.
Seems to me we're now destined for Conference North football next season - is this what the owners want, saves even more money ??

I think to stay in this league we need a bit more than "stuck in" .we create hardly any chances and even if we get the odd goal our defence isn't that good!

Give over. We're in a scrap at the bottom. The constant refrain on here is that what we want above all is players who are prepared to do exactly that. Get stuck in, make the effort and there's a far better chance the opportunities will come as is obviously what happened against Sutton.
