Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

I know I’m no Ollie Gunnar Solksjar, but I think a plastic, fast, flat pitch might actually suit our game??!! Noticed in the photos last night showed the lads training on one too - Evo won’t have missed a trick.
In front of the BT TV Sports cameras we will really turn it on - Quiggers to destroy their central defenders.......
Sutton Utd 0 - 3 Barrow AFC
Quigley x2, Rooney

Think they were one of the best sides we’ve played at Holker st this season. They were right down there when we played them but really impressed at the time. A win, any win please, think that pitch may just our football,I really can’t wait!!!

That point has been made before, but Evatt has said that isn't the case and he'd rather play on grass. That said, we were excellent on Bromley's earlier in the season.ssgtfoster wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 7:11 am I know I’m no Ollie Gunnar Solksjar, but I think a plastic, fast, flat pitch might actually suit our game??!!
3G pitches make for a dreadful spectacle usually, and Sutton's is definitely one of the worst.

I agree. The forecast isn't for gale force winds but it will be 18 or 19 mph and this pitch is hard enough to play on without any wind. Hope I'm wrong but I'm expecting a very close match with few goals and the conditions triumphing over both teams. Trying to forecast results is hard enough let alone scores but I wouldn't be surprised to see a 0-0 result or 1-0 either way.Kieran wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 10:57 amThat point has been made before, but Evatt has said that isn't the case and he'd rather play on grass.
