You can have all the energy gel you want but, if they go missing again against Port Vale this weekend like they did in the second half at Orient, were bolloxed.
Oldham dug deep tonight and found that will to win against an Orient team that we capitulated against,-that tells us all we need to know about what to expect from the remaining games unless Browny can instill within them ninety minutes worth of blood and snot.

We definitely have to find a win from somewhere on Saturday.I want to see our team running themselves into the ground and fighting for every ball.If we go down a lot of them will just move onto other clubs.They need to be fighting for every ball.I have followed this club for far too long and waited 48 years to see them back in the football league.I was 18 the last time they played in it and had to wait until I was 66 to see them playing back.in it.
So come on everyone get down to Holker St on Saturday and cheer the Bluebirds onto a win.It can be done

I'd be 114 if that happened, and by that time of life I'll probably be a grumpy old man who'll have lost the youthful enthusiasm and excitement that I've felt while watching them this season . . .

Just watched the Oldham v Orient highlights and what a difference to us, moving the ball with pace players running into space and the atmosphere was brilliant, got to say Oldham will win some more games, when we play it is so slow no wonder teams like playing against us, Orient made four changes to the team that played us plus Archibald was suspended.

I was 12 when we were turfed out - first Barrow AFC game aged 8. Followed the side regularly from the age of 9.
I've enjoyed watching the team throughout our return to EFL. Better football, better atmosphere.
Unfortunately, I think this is our final season in Div 2.
I feel sorry for the stalwarts who've missed out attending games due to their apprehension relating to Covid.

I believe the dismissal of Mark Cooper was a mistake. The quality of our forwards has been our downfall. Sir Alf Ramsey and Sir Alex Ferguson working side by side couldn't do anything with our current crop of so called 'Strikers' So I don't expect Phil Brown to do anything, either.

If I had my way, I'd be rid of the shower of shi*e we have, first thing tomorrow and field two or three lads from the local leagues who KNOW how to hit the back of the net! But I know that it ain't going to happen

We did it! It took 48 years but we got there. A dream fulfilled

Read on l2 banter page , wellens made 5 changes to the team against Oldham that played us most of those changes hadn't kicked a ball for weeks , not exactly fair to us or Stevenage in my opinion a couple of their fans were surprised he changed a form 11 so much !

Whilst on the subject of Oldham but relating it to the Barrow v Port Vale match thread and the comments regarding Radio Cumbria - the thread is now locked.

Have to say that the match day commentary (the times that I've heard it on ifollow is pretty poor) seem to spend more time talking about anything other than the match itself. The best commentary I've heard is when watching Oldham - two of them - one has a an accent that is hilarious! Check it out - he puts the 'hecky' into 'thump'
