Lincoln fan sitting in the stand when we were in the National league.
Sorry but you are a small club.
Yes that's why we are both in the same league. We know we are, you are just deluded. 🙂
Compare that to how gracious the Aston Villa fans were at Holker St.
Now they are a big club but didn't see the need to tell us that.

"Have you seen the cover photograph to 'Six Years in Purgatory'?

I deliberately chose a photograph that encapsulated the best possible visualisation of desolation - the back of beyond - unloved/unwanted as a football destination - a backwater - a long way from anywhere - financially unviable - no sane person would choose to go to this place - a necessary hiding to nothing - probably a defeat to a terrible footballing side - not many sides will win here because of the above - big advantage to the home side accordingly - type venue.

The photograph on the cover is Holker Street, Barrow.

Good luck, City Reserves."

Now if that isn't the biggest incentive to knock them out - then I don't know what is? It made my blood boil.
Yeah, only Barrow fans should be allowed to slag off the club, right Sea Dog Sam?

Josh Gordon has your forum posts printed out for motivation.
Well; it obviously worked! :D
Hope he bags another 20! :scarf:

Didn't realise you paid so much attention to my posts, Moribund. I'm flattered...blushing

We are often an easy hit for opposing fans to look down their noses at us and the town. Usually after a defeat to mask disgruntlements around their own club’s fortunes. It all comes down to perception of where they feel their own club should be and using a game / defeat against us as a marker.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Lincoln, the pimple on the flatlands of its very boring county. Anyone seen that fly-on-the-wall reality programme based in Lincoln police station? They have nothing to be proud of.
And, who was it that did the double over them the season they got promoted from the Conference? Can't just remember.
Don't let the old man in.

£10 for adults, excellent decision by the club. Hopefully well rewarded with another big crowd

Agree. Given we have three home games in 7 days money for many will be tight.

For a big club, it is ironic then that history will remember Lincoln mainly for their FA Cup exploits as a non-league outfit.

Yep, that’s as cheap as can be reasonably expected. Good effort and hopefully rewarded with a decent gate.

Hasn't the price to be acceptable and agreed with the travelling team as the attendance revenue is split with away support and EFL.. 45:45:10 ? Most af the games are charging this price

Yes, it needs agreeing so credit to Lincoln too.

I hadn’t done an exhaustive check on every tie although I did see that Stevenage were charging full whack against Peterborough.

Its what Stevenage do.
Do you recall when we reported them to their local trading standards people regarding their pricing policy for away fans? Had to undergo an investigation by them.
Angela will remember that.😂

I do indeed.

Stevenage and Steve Evans are the perfect fit in oh so many ways.
