Orient were very good at the dark arts helped by a blind ref, should have punished them in the first 20 mins.

Disappointed but these things happen. We are still in a great position, but we need to bounce back next week. Just when you thought Kay was a changed player, he has let himself and the team down. No doubt Pete Wild will have a word.

What happened?Orient came here to do a job on us and they certainly succeeded.The amount of time wasting was unbelievable.We played well at first,but then seemed to lose our way in the second halfWhat was al this kicking the ball high in the air.Most of those shots were won by the Orient players.That is not the way we normally play.It was like hit and hope it lands next to the right player.
I am going to watch them play at Tranmere next Saturday hoping this was just another bump in the road and normal service will be resumed.
As for the match officials,were there any,because from what I saw Orient were allowed to get away with murder.Are they actually qualified to referee a game at this level,because the man in the middle might as well have not been there.As forJosh Kay's red card for using derogatory language Pete Wild said they were appealing as the Orient player and Josh Kay said no such language was used,so as with the Sutton game the fourth official got it wrong again.You could hear the frustration in Pete Wild's voice during his interview with Adam.When your players are getting constantly fouled and their players are feigning injury to slow the game down something needs to be done.

Hard to work out how a team get warned about their time wasting after twenty minutes and then the idiot in charge then lets them do the same for the next seventy. The ref actually walked one of their players off after telling him….just book him!!! Their back line got away with pulling shirts, pushing players around…all the sneaky stuff that the officials continued to allow.
Anyway, a great first thirty minutes then they slowly came into the game and to be fair, probably edged the game overall, they’d have gained more respect for playing the game properly though. I hope they don’t go up with them tactics.
Fantastic attendance - which was probably boosted by a number of reasons, let’s hope a few enjoyed their day and come back.

Played well for 30 mins then lost our way, or Orient worked us out. Beaten by a better team on the day. But that ref 
let so many things go. I saw him watch from 2 metres away as Gordon was wrestled to the ground and he did nothing.

Watched by a bumper crowd of 4,629 including 258 Orient fans, a close encounter saw Barrow boss the first 30 minutes but, partly thanks to unpunished persistent holding on Josh Gordon, fail to find the finishing ball. Theo Archibald, a prime culprit, was finally yellow carded five minutes from the end of normal time to one of the biggest cheers of the afternoon, only for Josh Kay to carry out a personal retaliation resulting in his dismissal.
We started the game at a frantic pace, keeping the visitors largely penned inside their own half. In the 12th minute, a Whitfield cross was put out for a corner from which a Foley was saved by Vigouroux. Three minutes later, good work by Foley and Whitfield gave Warren a close-range effort on goal which also tested the Orient keeper. A good run by Kay then gave Whitfield another cross, leading to another corner.
Barrow’s corners were easily defended as was Orient’s first in the 24th minute. A foul on Gordon five minutes later gave Whitfield a free kick 25 yards out but again easily dealt with by Orient,
The first of four Orient bookings was given to Pratley on the half hour, but around this time the visitors stepped up a gear and a 36th minute cross from Archibald enabled the ever dangerous Paul Smyth to fire a shot from 20 yards just inside the left post for 0-1. It was a well taken goal of the sort we have been punishing other teams with this season after soaking up pressure.
Although against the run of play this move helps to explain why Leyton Orient are runaway league leaders.
We plugged away, another corner three minutes after their goal enabling Whitfield to cross dangerously across the goalmouth but with no-one to tap the ball in. Two minutes later, after more persistent holding on Gordon, Whitfield got in another cross which Kay fired over the bar.
Orient then finished the half strongly, the break well needed for us to recharge our batteries.
However, Orient continued to pressed home their advantage and, six minutes in, a fierce Smyth shot was cleared for a corner, from which Farman did well to block another power shot, this time from Brown.
A minute later, we had a chance when Kay was fouled for a Foley free kick which was cleared for a corner from which Neal headed just past the left post.
Clay then replaced Pratley for the visitors and a Smyth cross was blocked.
In the 64th minute, there was a Bluebirds double-change as Brough and Mayo came on for Kenlock and Gotts. Two minutes later, Moyo headed wide from a Brough cross.
Orient then replaced Kelman with Drinan. In the 68th minute, a Brough foul near the right touchline gave Archibald a free kick, Smyth’s header being punched away by Farman.
Foley tried a shot from 20 yards in the 72nd minute but this was saved.
Smyth was then replaced by Sotiriou but, even though one of their main attacking threats was now off the pitch, two minutes later it would be 0-2. A breakaway after a Barrow corner gave El Mizouni a strike on goal through players from 25 yards, an unsighted Farman frustrated at seeing the ball nestle inside the left post.
White then replaced Foley for Barrow with 10 minutes plus 8 minutes of added time remaining.
A 25 yard shot in the 84th minute by Whitfield was saved as it seemed nothing we could do today could make the ball cross the line! A consolation goal was deserved but was not to be.
However, the game still had more incident after Archibald was finally booked for one foul too many. Rooney came on for Warren in the 87th minute but meanwhile Kay was sent off for an offence involving Archibald.
Down to 10 men, even a consolation now looked beyond reach as Orient managed the game out with crowd, players and management still unsettled by refereeing decisions which had helped to tip the scales against us. Although we have now dropped to 4th, our healthy 21 points from 10 games is still a massive achievement.

Thought some of the refereeing was inconsistent. Although not necessarily biased - thought we got away with a blatant handball in first half (I couldn’t tell if it was in area or not from where I was stood)
Most bizarre was Smyth being subbed whilst injured and then coming back on pitch and contributing to a move for them whilst they had 12 on the pitch

For the first 20 mins, I thought we were going to stroll it. Completely dominated midfield and they passing errors from their keeper and defenders. After that they began to get into their stride and took control. We were unlucky in the second half that a couple of crosses into their 6 yard box didn't fall for us but they well deserved their victory. They are a good side for EFL2 and easily the best I've seen this season.

Beaten by a more streetwise team today but that's no disgrace. If you'd told me 4 years ago we'd be disappointed after losing against top of League 2 whilst we were 2nd.....................really!!.
Tranmere next week is a big game regarding our response to today but definitely winnable then Mansfield and Rochdale, could still be top 4 in 2 weeks which would be amazing. Keep the faith, all Bluebirds are Blue.

We had a go, probably the biggest they've had to dig deep with there tactics for a win. Fair play to them .

Thought we was [SwearFilter]. They weren’t much better, maybe a bit more streetwise. Very scrappy game. First goal looked very poor to concede and didn’t see second as was in bar. Apart from those two change a draw probably wouldn’t of raised any eyebrows

Missed opening five minutes - van broke down - we looked good early on - but they hit us with a sucker punch - this season we still haven’t drawn - if we can win at Tranmere next Saturday - I’ll be there but not going in my van, ha today will be soon forgotten.

Granted no huge modern obvious changes but loads more than stated, New Floodlights, Lazer levelled snooker table of a pitch, New Media/TV gantry above the Pop side Roof, Extra crush barriers everywhere, Scoreboard, New fan zone & indoor out door bar, revamped club house, CTV cameras, Revamped turnstiles etc etc ….Just for clarity.

Players backed off for both shots that Orient scored. We didn't get the luck with crosses into the box. Prob worst team I've seen for time wasting and they are top ? Cba watching them every week if most of the game they are falling over. Ref at my lads under 14s game was 100% better than the shite we seem to get in this league. He might as well put on an orient shirt and got on their bus ! Linesman over the main stand literally did nothing other than flag for throw ins ! Gordon asked him why hes not flagging for all the late challenges on him - response "not enough contact" blatantly fouled constantly and gets nothing. Games gone now and i hope we can put a performance in next Saturday and keep the momentum going
