Good performance, we deserved to win, but can someone please tell me what Proctor brings to the team? If you say pretty much nothing (ditto Garner) you're spot on IMO. Acquah and Telford should always be ahead of him in the pecking order. I thought Mazeed was excellent, considering he hasn't had much game time.

Did you not see Proctor’s hold up play, lay offs, aerial challenges with flick ons? He probably does this better and more consistently than Acquah IMO, though admittedly Acquah is more of a handful occupying the CB.

I thought that as well thought he did OK needs more game time if anything!

Agree, I thought Proctor was very good. Not a goal threat, but his all round play was excellent.

There was me thinking Proctor had one of his better games, particularly in terms of link-up play, some clever passes, and closing people down. Ah well, just shows how opinions differ!

Same here, I think he brings something different from Acquah.

Thought Proctor battled well against two good centre halves (Davies we know about from Kelly's team), and linked up well to get Whitfield and Newby into some decent positions.

Great win, and Campbell was tremendous, performance capped by an excellent strike.

FORZA BLUEBIRDS, Buon Anno all you Bluebirds. Great win against against an in form team who always give us a hard game. Fantastic to see us get another 4000 plus gate, good turnout from Tranmere, it’s all looking good! Bluebird per sempre.

Not a fantastic game on the eye but a great result with them being the in form team and us riding on the back of that Wrexham result.
The Proctor debate, I personally thought it was his best game for us, poor first ten minutes but grew into the game with some clever moves, flick-on’s and link up play.
Great diving punch off Farman towards the end of the game, he needed to be fully committed to that - which he was.
I didn’t think the attendance was that great when you remove the away support, but just after Christmas and all that.
Great to get back to winning ways.

It’s squad rotation. He has a wealth of experience and plays the role well. The goals are spread across the team and that can only be a good thing. No sense whatsoever in picking in one player when we are where we are.

Fair play to mazeed I don’t think he’s really a full back and he’s definitely not an attacking wing back but didn’t look too bad today. Proctor brings something different and will be a valuable asset this season

Personally thought Mazeed was MOTM today.

Poor game especially first half.

Couple of annoying thoughts when leaving ground, 1) why don’t they open both gates onto car park on popular side to make getting out easier and 2) which [SwearFilter] either let a car through today that couldn’t get out so people were held up or which knob in his supposedly posh car parked blocking the pathway.

He was signed as a left back and played left wing back whilst on loan at Crawley from Arsenal
