Some lads probably pestered Pete for his number, sent him a text asking about transfer news and he’s replied “can’t talk, I’m off”…..

….as he proceeds to board a plane with his family to the Dominican Republic for his summer holidays.

Stranger things have happened though, would be gutted if he’s gone. According to the last contract on him and Adam Temple they had long term contracts, so it would take a substantial amount of money to pry him away.

I would be surprised if he goes but the silence from Wild following the announcement of the release and retained list and nothing from him since the Mansfield game won’t do anything to silence speculation. I did think at the very least either a club or Radio Cumbria interview would have been forthcoming after the retained list to explain his reasons for said list
