If he has another club lined up he has obviously been talking to them without Barrows permission. That would surely be enough grounds to terminate his contract with no pay off.

If I was Pete Wild, I would take until Christmas off .. loads of sackings around that time. In the meantime he can build up his knowledge of all the teams in L1 and L2 … he will get a good job.

I wish him well. Yes I think he made some mistakes but he’s young and I hope his next move goes well for him.

He loves doing podcasts etc so I hope he talks highly of his time at Barrow and hope he got a lot out of the experience.

They wont NDAs will have been signed and the time its taken will have been regarding the terms of his departure

I don’t believe the board mandate was for promotion at the end of season 2 when he first came with a “5 year plan” promotion would have been a massive challenge, not one we wouldn’t have took on but it would have been a massive leap for the whole club.

If money is tight then why would we burden ourselves with that cost for a manager that has got us nearly in the playoffs two seasons running?
