Interesting to hear Hornby say the statement regarding Wild going was simply a generic statement that was agreed by both sides and due to confidentiality he couldn’t speak anymore on Pete’s departure but it was not something he has envisaged doing at end of season

Let's see how he gets on, eh? Nothing we can do apart from turn up on a Saturday and Tuesday, back the lads and hope for the best. Exactly the same as we did under Wild, who's departure is now water that has flowed well beyond the bridge.

Well that was a very interesting and positive interview with both S.C and P.H!! You cannot guarantee that Clemence will be the man, just as you can’t with anyone but based on that, those guys know what they are doing!

Thought hornbys interview was absolutely fantastic. We talk about having a good director of football and a good manager but in terms of having an owner that wants the best for his club there can't be many as good and committed as him

Agree with that. Especially reassured by what he said on finance. No surprise at his praise for Ian Wood who had worked tremendously hard last summer to prepare the Manchester facility for use and 'Barrowise' it. It sounds like he has been giving his all this close season, too, to improve the facility.

From 17:30. The spotlight on Barrow this season from BBCNW has been great. I wonder if they intend to put them all together as a programme for iPlayer?

Right all you supporters out there a little bit of
advice,If Steve loses a couple of games at the start of the season don,t start calling him to be sacked.He had already said he is going to play a different type of football so give him a chance.It may take him a while for things to click into place.
Cast your mind back to when Alex first took over Man UTD it took a while for him to start getting results,so keep the faith.

Just listened to the interviews and it would seem that all's well in the state of Denmark. However, I also conclude that it's Iain Wood's way or the highway at AFC the noo, and if that's how the BoDs want it - that's fine with me. Semper Sursum!
