Bob Ledger scored 2 goals on his debut think it was against Rochdale and nothing for the following 21 games Wayne Bullymore another.
Excuse my ignorance if Wayne Bullymore was a player from before my time but if you mean Wayne Bullimore he was quality for us
Think it was a pun.

It was mentioned by the manager Adam Murray when previewing today’s game at Truro. Said they had been watching him for a while and he good relationship with the people at Barrow and was more than happy to take him on loan for the rest of the season.

Reading this thread made me wonder what Adam Boyes did after leaving Barrow. He joined us after failing to make the grade with Scunthorpe and York, then in the EFL, and went on a run of scoring almost every game in the first few months. He ended up with 29 goals in 85 appearances. Since then, he has scored consistently for all his clubs, though at a lower level - Guisely, Bradford PA, Spennymoor and Marske.

Paul Ogden unearthed two gems in Ritchie Bennett and Jordan Williams .
Both players did well for us and Bennett was sold for £50,000 Williams I am sure for a similar fee.
It cost us relatively little and we made a good sum.

Take in contrast whoever is doing the recruiting Sporting Director or Manager the cost and what we've recouped.
It's like the Argentinan Junta all people wearing the medals but no foot soldiers.
I don't care how hard it is to recruit it's there job
I wouldn't say he unearthed two gems. They did ok at the level they played at for us but neither pulled up any trees when playing league football. IMO it was more a case of we got lucky as clubs took a punt on them that didn't pay off.
As for today's squad times have changed and very few players in league 2 move on for money these days. I wouldn't at all be surprised if any of Cambell, Gotts or Spence run there contracts down and move on for no fee like Brough and Whitfield did as was there right. If any of the 3 ive mentioned were to go for a feee id guess it would could be anything from 75k up to 125k for any of them with sell on clause too.
Yep they did fade into oblivion but we received £100,000. Not a bad return

100 % I loved him ,really hard working player who had his faults but was very talented!
We have loads who run around we want someone to put the ball in the net
Wayne was a midfielder who in 112 games scored 13 then went on to play for Emley and Belper hardly prolific.

Bullimore was one of the main reasons the prolific Nicky peverall amassed over 60 goals in around 130 appearances with his numerous assists. He didn’t need to be prolific himself

Sounds like he is up for it. First 15 mins header beat keeper but hooked off the line then a shot inches wide.

Club already got several players Contracted for next Season if that happens, Stanway, Acquah, Mahoney, Canavan, Kouyate, Flecther, Jackson, and possible Feeley, Kirk & Barnes on next Season options, and now Shamalo, all should be decent for the National League.
Fcuk sake man... Can we give relegation a rest till we are actually in that position??

We are NOT in the bottom 3, we are 15th!! We are NINE places from bottom.
Is that it now for the second half of the season, are the doom and gloom merchants going to mentally drive us into a league below or are we as supporters going to f u c king get behind the blood team and club and just see if we can't progress up the table????

Sometimes the negativity on here really [SwearFilter] me off especially when the doom and gloom merchants just won't give it a rest!

Do you all wake up each morning [SwearFilter] off cos you didn't breathe properly in your sleep??
Well said, Talk about defeatist attitude, I’d hate to be in the trenches with any of them.

Good move for the lad, gone up 2 leagues & scored & 1 cleared off the line Is a great debut & be interesting to see how this pans out.
