Crap way to lose the game but that was by far the best performance out of the first three games. Hopefully we can take a bit of positivity from that into the game on Saturday.

Should've scored twice, Mahoney and Barkhuizen with a couple of big chances. The former had one of his best games for us.
Popular side since '03.

Firstly, we are playing a championship side (although I know a few are squad players) so we will be outnumbered and overrun at times, particualrly in midfield, so try to take that into account. Secondly, its now a matter of confidence - really need to get that first goal and first point as we, at times, look a pretty decent team.

Not forgetting the heat out there tonight..

Solid performance, some decent football, unlucky.

Kick on now and get some points on the board cos despite the opening two games results, no where near as bad as folk have made out!

Chalk n cheese from Saturdays game, much better, thought Winterbottom looks excellent in goal (probably should have made a call though if running out,For the own goal)

Thought Earing, Mahoney ( outstanding) and Walker combined well, when we use the high press it put them under pressure, we have to work this hard every week, Cameron for me can't hold the ball up and it ends up ruining any movement up front!
Still need a right wingback and 2 mobile forwards!
But 💯 better than Saturday!

That's because we pressed higher up the pitch if you sit back you get Saturdays performance!

Really enjoyed that tonight. Winterbottom has done more than enough to deserve the shirt saturday for me despite the mix up. Can't say we never had a go, thought we looked like a team capable of putting the ball in the net for a change despite not managing to. Id be more concerned as a Preston fan after that than I am as a barrow fan. On to saturday

Only thing with winter bottom is his kicking isn’t great. Put us back under pressure a good few times with poor short kicks and then let Preston slow the game back down with kicks far too long

He did make the call but Raglan was already committed to the header.
Good performance tonight. Everyone put a shift in probably Mahoneys best game at Holker. Street. We gave Preston a scare Play like that every week we will be fine
On another note I’m not sure the floodlights are much of an improvement. Big dark shadow on popular side cross bar end corner. I’m not convinced they are any better than we had

Thats only going to get better with game time. He looked composed and the shots he did save he pushed on to safe areas, not a bad debut for me

100 less spectators than Saturday, is a joke.
At least 500, probably a 1000 more there tonight.
Only 2170 Barrow fans?????

Good effort tonight. We didn’t fold after the own goal and did everything we could to get back into it. Squad depth was shown up tonight to be thin on the ground and hopefully we can still bring in one or two good signings. Winterbottom looks a decent keeper.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels
