We need to get good loan players in too next season. They make all the difference. We have in the past, Ryan Yates, Glenn Murray, Grant Holt, Luca Stephenson to name just some.

Last season’s loan players were absolutely terrible. Josh Gordon, the pick of the bunch, but even he was 4th or 5th choice striker for a team in the same division!

I lost count of the number of opposition sides, who had Premiership or Championship players in on loan, who were real danger men, and made a huge difference in games against us.

Recruitment and contacts really is everything. Especially when you don’t have an unlimited amount of money, so we have to be smart with our signings.

Wow I didn't know that! I can picture him sat in the Cross Bar with his parents, and he was wearing a Carlisle United tracksuit! Probably why I thought he was on loan.
