Can't fault the effort and intensity, but very little quality. I know George Walker created the goal but he has been weak and hasn't done much with the ball, so I would get Whitfield or Cronkshaw on in his place. Despeartely need someone who can run with the ball like their winger did!

Agreed. I’m amazed Whitfield can’t get a start for me he’s first on the team sheet!

Disagree with this. There's a good player in there but hes been pretty ordinary since he come back after his 1st spell

He has been less than ordinary since he came back although i would have give him a start today in a last chance saloon scenario

It's probably just the way he runs, but I didn't think Whitfield looked fit when he came on last week. We had a corner late on and he looked knackered running over to take it, he'd only been on the pitch 20 minutes.
Popular side since '03.

Finished that half strong. Most of our play is going through Oakley and Walker down the right who I think have both shown a lot of positive intent with the ball

Don’t forget this lot have bagged 8 goals in two games going into this one so he’s got the game plan right so far. A spark off the bench might settle this. Let’s hope it’s for us.

He had a few injuries last season never really got into a run. When he’s fit and on his day he's a handful can score and get crosses in. Maybe still not 100% as someone else said. Hopefully there’s more to come from him.
Pleased that Benjamin has gone off, Digie looked ok at Hartlepool to me so I’m surprised he was dropped really.

Yep agree with a lot of this. If he finds some fitness and some confidence, he can be a real asset for us this season
