Did he tell the Club at the game last week he was tearing up his Contract while walking out the door.

I doubt he will have gone yet more than likely Murray has told him he wont feature this season so better he finds another club. I think the clue was in a Murray interview when he lauded Captain Marriot and said he told the players "this is your dressing room now so own it" or words to that effect.
If it is the case it's still an odd one given how he waxed lyrical about MJ when he made him club captain. Perhaps like the owners with regards to last season he has now realised he was being duped.

All i will say on this is players should NOT/NEVER have a direct line to the chaiman

We had 5 managers last year, wonder how many went/were appointed through player power

If that was the case the Chairman should have shut that direct line down immediately

He’s surplus to requirements but as with barkhauzen, if somebody doesn’t come in for him and offer him what he’s earning at barrow he will just sit picking up 2k+ a week for nothing
