Well done edmo for going on the radio, and although it may have been the final nail in your coffin I think you should have the right to respond.

The fa cup was a big thing to the cassons - is it only me that thinks that result wasn't actually that much of a surprise, fylde were better than us last season and the way we played we were lucky to win the league, yes we're a league higher but the standard between the two teams isn't that much different.

I thought it was time for edmo to go mainly because the football we have been watching isn't very good, but now i want him to prove Casson wrong and get through this. I don't like the way this has been done, and don't particularly like Casson if I'm honest, or should that be more trust Casson and think he is realising now that buying the club wasn't just the pastime he thought it was going to be. He doesn't know anything about running a football club doesn't have people in place that do but is too quick to blame everyone else and imo the interview he gave on radio Cumbria made him look a bit silly the way he changes his mind on what position he would be happy with, happy or not with edmo etc.

If Paul Casson was now looking at buying Barrow AFC now he knows what is involved properly ,I don't think he would have taken it on.........

Is Graham Alexander still jobless after Fleetwood got rid of him? He'd be up there on my list of potentials!!

Casson said he spoke with him after Halifax (we beat Eastleigh)
Spoke again after alty (we beat chester)
Spoke again after Bromley (we beat tranmere)

Now for my thoughs,if Edmo can only motivate his team after being spoken to my the owner. Then he's not the right man.

I Don't blame casson for coming out and saying it,

If PC has reached the stage where he feels the need to make public statements like today's then my view is that he should have just pulled the trigger and sacked Edmo straight away.

And whilst I'm no expert in employment law and we obviously don't know the terms of his contract, I wouldn't have been surprised if Edmo had resigned today and filed a claim for constructive dismissal.

This is turning into quite a sad end (if it is to be the end, and I think it is). I really wanted edmo to succeed but I just think he is out of his depth and has not learned quick enough. Our away support has been amazing this season and we have deserved better on more than a few occasions. I hate change for change sake but his position is almost untenable now. I think PC has been quite decisive and ruthless which isn't going to be to everyone's taste (including mine) but he has been fair in giving him one last chance to prove himself. I think the decision in some way is going to be down to the players, will they play for him now or roll over? Their reaction to this will tell us if he is the right man or not. But even that might not be enough.

Nothing wrong with being ruthless as long as the targets are clear and the money to achieve them.

PC should have kept his discussion with Edmo private.

If he is asked to leave , I know who has conducted themselves professionally and I am not a fan of his.

Yet another owner of a club that goes to the press to tell all and sundries his thoughts about his manager. Shameful and weak from a person who is supposed to be a multimillionair in buiseness. It's a wonder he's got anyone working for him. Some of the stuff he's come out with since he took over has been astonishing.

:| This whole saga had been badly handled thought Mr Casson had more class than public rebuking of manager who is now in impossible position and credit to him that knowing every tactic and word will be analysed has not thrown in the towel.Yes mistakes made and football not been top drawer quality but edmo deserves better treatment and this brings no credit to club.Speculation about who comes next and when he gets boot is now rife.brings no credit to supporters either.Hope Edmo has some success cos he is genuine nice guy and font deserve this treatment
