We’d like to thank Mark Cooksey who is co-owner of Vehicles in Video (who now appears on our topic thread title along with his contact details). Mark has agreed to sponsor us for the 21/22 season with a very generous offer.
As usual, the money will be going on materials for the upkeep/maintenance of the ground.

Mark is a Barrovian but has lived in London for 30 years now. He has always followed the club and was a regular on the terraces in the late 80’s and still attends a few games when we are playing in the London area.

We’d also like to thank Dave Armstrong, who even in the middle of what has been going on sponsored us for the 20/21 season. We couldn’t even get him to see a home game….but thanks Dave for your sponsorship of us over the last twelve months.

As I mentioned yesterday, we’ve been asked if we could fit in painting the pitch perimeter walls and some other areas of the ground interior. This is the sort of job anyone can do.
I’ll be giving them an answer tomorrow but as things stand it’s been quite a poor response and I’m afraid it’s looking like it’s not going to be done by us, the twenty or so people who are down there at the moment are completely tied up with the press box and away directors rooms jobs.

As a last ditch attempt….if anyone can offer a few hours help or the odd morning can you please get in touch ASAP.

Open the fanzone for the england game fund it with that!

Decent idea. Make events outside of match days fundraisers for a particular project. Encourage attendance and a bigger spend.

Is it worth buying a small paint sprayer, Clean it right and it will last well & reduce the labour & manpower required for your painting projects & speed up the process, Just a suggestion.

A spirits rack in the Fanzone would be handy to aid the speed off service. The ones that hold the bottles upside down quick measure ones.

Hi all. This is a shout out for some extra hands on Saturday and / or Sunday morning to help out with the painting of the pitch side perimeter walls. Its a big job and any extra help will be most appreciated!
If you can spare a couple of hours on either Sat or Sunday morning (or both) then come on down to the ground around 9am, grab a scraper or a brush and get stuck in! Always good to meet and catch up with other fans, talk some footy and hopefully (Sun) we will be in a celebratory mood

Spirit(Ian) assures me there’s a brew in it!

We really need to get this completed before Gareth puts down the pitch side 2g border.
