Re: GMV - kindly sponsored by Dandy’s, Steve Leonard, Stu Rodgers, John Goodwin & Surrey Barrovian.
This is one of our latest projects, it’s in the main corridor.& is a timeline of BAFCs history from when the club was founded through to gaining promotion back into the EFL.
What you are seeing on this image is what Mark Johnson (off here) produced for us after we gave him the ideas/timings/events. Mark has done an absolutely amazing job of this, we never had the know-how to do anything like this design so a huge thanks to him for all the help.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

This is the finished timeline board in position. Many thanks (once again) to the NSC for the funding to make this possible. Also a huge thank you to Graphix Signs for producing the finished boards and massively helping out with the cost.
So many people, organisations and businesses offering their help, we always mention this but without this type of assistance we wouldn’t get anywhere near doing what we are able to.
If you’d like to see this in person pop down on Sunday morning, we’d be happy to show you this and other projects we have on the go.

Without meaning to be nit pick and the wall is great but to me the end bit is wrong,we regained our EFL place in June 2020 not September.
September was when we played our 1st match.

It’s a moot point, because you could say we didn’t regain our place until the first ball had been kicked in the new season.Van Der Nipper wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:16 am Without meaning to be nit pick and the wall is great but to me the end bit is wrong,we regained our EFL place in June 2020 not September.

Whatever, it’s a great effort by the volunteers and let’s not forget the sponsors and fans who have contributed.

Two more areas ticked off this morning, a few small finishing touches to complete but virtually finished. Here’s a couple of before’s & afters.
The Chairman’s room has now had the serving and storage units assembled and fit. These are the ones Andy at KRD Cabinets (Manchester) supplied, he actually made them to our own measurements & requirements.
Also thanks to April 1972 off here for putting us in touch with Andy.
