For those who have never been down to the ground you should pay a visit. The work they all do is brilliant and a credit to the club and we should be all so proud of what they do. They have saved the club thousands of £'s over the years and the pride they take in their work is awe inspiring. To be honest I'm not sure where the club would be without the work they have done over the years.

Just a few from today. Work starting on the first aid room which has been on our “to do list” for some time now. It’ll be painted out, leaking windows fixed, a new privacy curtain put up and a few other additions that’ll make it more comfortable for those that use it on match days.

The ground was once again completely litter picked and recyclables separated. Them lads & lasses deserve medals. Several lights inside the main building have also been fixed. The portable segregation fencing that we fabricated was also put in position at the request of the club ready for the visit of Bradford. The base of the flag pole we put up last year was boxed up and concreted….unfortunately then the rain came down, having water running down the pole and into the concrete wasn’t perfect so that will have to be re-visited.

Marion receiving her flowers and present again for all the amazing spreads she puts on for us every single visit, the highlight of every Sunday morning down there.

We’d also like to thank the two supporters who caught up with us yesterday and donated some cash for the GMV kitty. Without donations such as this we simply couldn’t take on anywhere near the amount we are able to at present.
Twelve years we’ve been doing this and the amount of money donated to us over them dozen years has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you all.

Don’t underestimate what your DDs have enabled us to do over the years Ally_Cat, as we have said many many times - without donations such as yours and the amazing NSC, businesses & people who continue to support us we simply couldn’t continue, seriously, there are no ifs or buts…that’d be it. DDs, cash donations, sponsorship & the buses we run are our only form of income, and it’s always a slight concern when the kitty starts dwindling on some of the projects we take on, so thank you all for your support.

I don’t how long you need to run a DD for to get some sort of award but you deserve one mate
