What would work, though, is a carnet - type ticket valid for, perhaps any five or any ten games, sold at a discount to the cost of individual admissions. Such a ticket could be sold either during the summer, with suitable incentives for supporters to buy early, or at any time during the season. It might even tempt exiles such as me into coming to Holker Street more often!
^^^^This, The Austin Aztex over here offered tickets in blocks of 5, 10 & 15 etc as well as the standard ST, You use these tickets to any game or take a friend & use 2 etc, very flexible and accommodates everyone's differing needs.
It would be a good idea Mick but out of interest how many do the Aztex employ in the commercial and admin side to manage and oversee all that? We can hardly run the proverbial at the moment, it would be chaos

A season ticket is exactly that. A ticket for the season.
All this,I can't do every second Tuesday so I want my own special ticket doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe sell half season tickets around Christmas if we are doing well

Apart from that just leave it as season tickets.

This sort of offer would definitely make me more inclined to make the trip more often. I would imagine that would be true for quite a few of our regular travelling group.

Which presumably Ralph himself receives electronically, although probably only certain text files rather than the whole programme?
I'm sent one of the final drafts of the programme (in a PDF format), so generally receive about 98% of what appears in the programme on the day, I have a gentleman's agreement with those responsible not to run anything from the programme in the HSN until after the game's played. This season, with a glut of home games at the end of the season, have quite a few articles to catch up on, but generally try to run the most relevant articles (for example, the columns from Casson and Cox) in the next HSN after the day of the game.

This works well, at least for me, and have followed the discussions about having the programme on-line for those on foreign shores to purchase and peruse, and Richard Ingham's comments about the printers wanting a few extra bob to allow this to happen did stymie this in the past. Whether this changes in future, will be interesting.

Would people pay for the programme if they could read it on-line? Goodness knows? And how much would they be willing to pay? Would GBP2 be a fair price? And would be interesting to see the economics behind it all, as well learning how many copies other clubs manage to flog this way.

Robbing the club of money that is. You copy and paste bits of it into your newsletter, meaning people that might download and pay to get it won't as they get bits off you

That's not correct, though, is it?. People can't pay for and download a copy. If they could then maybe, as a commercial decision, the Newsletter wouldn't be allowed to provide that service any more. But, for now, it can and nobody loses.
It all comes 'round again.

I hear what your saying GB but it's very easy to implement, just print off a few batches of tickets and they get collected at the gate when you use them, I often had a handful left with a couple of games to go & just took a few mates to those games to use up the tickets.

I am unable to attend most fixtures due to a regular weekend engagement. I had requested the board of directors offer a non-Saturday ticket for those in this situation. Unfortunately they have not done this. I will have to pay on the door each Tuesday now.

If you can afford it and your only going to miss less than 5 games worth doing

I'd have to do monthly payment meaning I could only miss 3
