Re: BAFC V Rochdale.
Still hope here
amount of setpieces we get and how uncomfortable their keeper is with them is an encouragement, just gotta find our man more often
but at this rate they will score at least one more goal by simply outmatching our right side and carving them up to their liking

Re: BAFC V Rochdale.
Barrow torn apart by a much better team. Could have been 4 or 5
Akil Wright, man of the match and only on the pitch 20 minutes
Can say they are the better team, higher in the pyramid etc.. But the truth is we couldn't even do the basics right today and we made it easy for them. Simple passes 5 - 10 yards wasted, players fumbling with the ball at their feet, poor marking, poor tracking, backing off.. We need to sort that out as most Conference teams would punish that performance.
Well done to the team for making it that far though but now we need to be more solid in the upcoming league games,

Re: BAFC V Rochdale.
Spot on. Couldn't fault the effort but well beaten by a better team. I wouldn't fault the back 4 because they were coming through from midfield in droves. They ran very well off the ball and midfielders have to go with them otherwise defenders get outnumbered.Mark Johnson wrote:Barrow torn apart by a much better team. Could have been 4 or 5

Re: BAFC V Rochdale.
Completely outclassed, we huffed and puffed but the best team won comfortably
On a day like today you need every player to be absolutely on their game and we weren't, Rochdales pace and especially midfield runners tore us to shreds and 2v0 probably flatters us a tad to be honest

No complaints whatsoever. Absolutely outclassed and we were some way off our best, we would've needed the rub of the green anyway and it didn't happen.
As others have said Akil Wright would've been a much better option in midfield.
Three games we should be winning now to get back on track before the visits of Lincoln and the like.
I don't think we've shown enough there to entice people back for the regular games unfortunately.
