How do you know the players coming in are any better Dixie. Can I borrow your crystal ball. It"s called pre season . And we are going around boot sales again looking for a bargain. Can you predict we will sign anyone better than Danny. ...............

Cox is still on holiday but word is that deals are ready to bring in a midfielder and a wide man over the weekend.

Hannah sometimes players just don't fit in. We can do better.

Turnbull started 31 games last season for Barrow. #core

I reckon most were in the second half of the season after Yates left and we were then pretty crap.

Yes I was surprised at 31 games. It felt like he was in and out a lot more than that. But I suppose you've got to look at Coxs lack of squad rotation: Bennett, Diarra, Williams, Livesey, Hughes, ARH, Anderton, Beeley. I would bet that most of them played over 40 times last season and Harrison and Dixon would've done but for injury. In comparison, 31 games might seem a lot less and more noticeable in such a tight squad.

We definitely didn't look the same team when Yates left. That's why we didn't finish in a play-off position for sure. Imagine if we still had him and Harrison hadn't got injured.
