Definitely no boos from barrow fans when white came on. Two bad footballing teams and barrow were fortunate enough to get three points , enough said

Aye good to hear the players for once, Grant then Asa both interviewed by Adam at the end.

Just a quick mention of the superb radio Lonsdale coverage, Adam once again gave us a good show even though he was flying solo, not for the first time and that can't be easy. He made it sound like seamless, effortless and fun and in the circumstances that was top notch coverage.
Adam is a brilliant commentator- he says what he sees - no wandering off the subject or dull sounding commentary. Radio Cumbria are missing a great freelance talent on their doorstep.
Somebody told me that Andy Wood is leaving at Christmas. No doubt he will be replaced by someone from Carlisle, wake up Radio Cumbria!

Great Commentary from Andy Wood : 'Whilst we were away around the other grounds, Halifax broke clear. The Halifax winger left Macdonald for dead but then came a great tackle from Stuart Moore - he came out and two footed him!' ...Made me laugh...

I continue to listen to BBC RC out of habit, but respect the work Adam is doing. I am only loyal to BBC RC because I really like John Goodwin (but he only does home games).. from now on I may listen to Adam for the away games just from reviews on here.

The worst analyzer has to be Tommy Cassidy - he talks so much nonsense that its almost (almost) entertaining ..

Anyway, as for today well done to Barrow. That's 3 away wins on the bounce. Sounded nervy at times but a good win.

Big win today. I don't remember us getting too many wins there.

Andy is a brilliant commentator and got alot of time for him all the advice and help he has given me.
No problem with anyone using the excellent service radio cumbria give as iv said we are not a rival just offer a different perspective to compliment their excellent coverage.

Rode our luck today but after some of the games this season its about time we had abit of luck

True, we did ride our luck, particularly in the first half. With Halifax hitting the woodwork twice, there were only two possible outcomes - a hammering or a sneaky 1-0 win. Hard work by the players made sure it was the latter.

One of the few away matches I can make as an exile - great result (my last match was Shaw Lane ...). Not always pretty, but all the team worked really hard. Other than the two Halifax chances that hit the woodwork, I thought we looked quite comfortable. The new left back, Calum McDonald looked promising - very good touch, really solid. Harry P. worked really hard - the chasing work up front helped to keep it calm in the last few minutes (don't know where 5 mins added time came from!). A good all round team performance. I didn't hear any Barrow fans booing Adi when he went off - must have been the Halifax fans (they didn't have much to cheer). Great away support as usual - the players really appreciated it at the end. Jimmy Dunne was particularly keen to come over and thank the fans - lots of passion. Good to see us climb above Eastleigh and Orient. Hope to get to Holker Street next week, so please can we repeat our away form?

Well done Barrow ...

The new manager and his team seem to have quickly instilled a growing confidence , organisation , and some good habits in terms of preparation and 'style '.

Long may it continue

Sounds like the sort of game we were losing or conceding late in earlier in the season. We were due to win one, but hopefully a sign of a more resilient team.

Didn't sound a great game.
But any away win is great. Clean sheet and a small gap opening up between us and the bottom 4.
Hope Guiseley draw in the cup to keep them occupied.
Another couple of wins and I might start looking at the top half of the table. At the moment let's just keep picking up points and moving away from the bottom.
Well done lads....

I totally agree with that, he talks a load of drivel, simply rephrasing or agreeing what the other commentator has said, or what he himself has said earlier. Get rid!

Shows the lack of ambition at RC when they can’t/won’t get rid of him probably because they can’t be arsed!

After many years of faithfully tuning in to RC our of habit & no real alternitave it refreshing to have another choice if you fancy a change & before I enjoyed their offerings bar the odd waffle about their recent night out of playingvin the Carlisle eh!! Sunday league BUT this Andy Wood is clearly not happy with his lot & it really comes across the airwaves & IMHO he kinda holds it against us judging by some of the shite he comes out with & doesn’t really understand the NL scene, 1 recent mind blowing for a BAFC Fan was his lack of understanding of our feelings toward Hereford, He Just didn’t know & he was totally unaware they were still playing, He always seemed to look for & dwell on the negative in any situation at the Club & was [SwearFilter] me right off & don’t get me started on that [SwearFilter] Cassidy, Worse pundit ever....
