Fair enough but for those who work shifts it may not be financially viable to buy a season ticket should they only be able to make 50% of home games.

Not that this scenario is likely to occur, mind.

One of the incentives to buy a season ticket is to get first dibs when it comes to cup games etc. So that's one reason why that should be the case here.

Exactly. The club has to prioritise somehow by the look of things and your ST holders are there thru thin and thin unlike a thousand other supporters.

Can't believe people are questioning why season ticket holders should get first dibs. Laughable. It happens at every club and as someone has rightly pointed out, it is used as a big incentive to buy one.

Agreed and it also gives the club a decent cash injection at the start of the season, not to mention the fact that it’s easy for me to rip one off (easy..) and just hand it over without going online each week and buying a ticket

Exactly. Anyway, its is looking increasingly likely that games will be suspended rather than have a cap on attendance.

Not everyone is in a financial position to pay out a few hundred pound in advance for a season ticket.
Everything has it's pros and cons.
Special offers during the season help some of those who can't but the adult fans of working age seem to lose out on those types of offers. If the club could afford to do more then they would.
ST holders have paid for games whether they can attend or not. It is swings and roundabouts.
We are all important to the club in whatever form we pay to attend.

Realise not everyone can do this but I have bought online tickets for the last few games. If the games are cancelled the club are welcome to keep the money.

Likewise. Whatever the NL board decide (and we should know in a couple of hours), it is up to us supporters to rally round and help the club's finances in whatever way we can, although I appreciate that many will not be able to do so.

I too have done that and agree with your views. However I suspect postponement rather than cancellation and in such circumstances I would expect the original ticket to be valid whenever the game is played.

And a further discussion then ensued regarding season ticket holders v match day tickets. Hence my post

I'd quite happily contribute the cost of a ticket a fortnight or whatever the average time between home games is if the club were to provide the option. Personal choice, viability of course.

Surely no-ones claimed a refund? Everything this club has given us this season we can’t be skinting them because some welsh scroat couldn’t be bothered to wash his hands properly!
Are tickets still on sale or are we better giving our £15 to the play our part campaign??

I've bought all remaining tickets already. Refund not required here. If every fan of every club does this, we may not have a league to come back to if this goes on as long as some have predicted.
That's not to say no one should ask for a refund at all. Everyone's situation is different and no one should be criticised if they want/need that money back.
Very disappointed, but there's a wider world than the national League, and that world is in panic and chaos at the minute. Stay well everyone.

Although I've already bought all remaining home game tickets, I would quite happily buy some more if the club still sticks them.on sale? Obviously If the games do get to be played, i would either give them back to club to sell on again(no refund reqd) or give them away to someone else?
It is a very unusual thing this current time and I am still very sceptical about it. If it didn't have a name and people just had the symptoms which they say is like a typical cold or mild flu, I don't think the world would be so panicky!

I guess we will.all have to see what happens? But I would be absolutely devastated if this season's hard work by the club and team counts for nothing.
