Pitch was fine, popular side was firm but not frozen. Let's hope the weather behaves tonight. 5 hours work to put them on.

You never know, 30,000 quids-worth of covers might be doing their job. And so might the ground staff. No one would think to suggest otherwise, surely.
Oh, hang on, I see you've edited your post.... ;)
Pitch has no frost, in fact will take a full stud in 80% of it, rubbers would be fine. The popular side is firm but not frozen

Would Exeter not have travelled today, stopping overnight?

Hopefully manage a goal to keep us in touch with a few above. 1-0 :scarf: :scarf:
Fingers crossed, my major concern is temp dropping to sub zero after dark and after the sheets coming off...

Mace Goodridge also counts as U21

It is any player born after 1/1/99 that doesn’t need registering

Overall we have 31 players in our squad (not counting players who are out on loan)

5 of our players are classed as U21

That leaves 26 players over 21 of which 4 would be left out due to only being able to name 22
Thanks Adam. In light of your clarification the updated list from my original post is pasted below for ease of reference:

18 definitely in EFL Squad list (the squad from Cambridge at home, plus Platty and the two most recents signings):

1 Dixon
29 Eardley (loan)
22 Davies (loan)
3 Brough
28 Chris Taylor
42 Banks
32 Donohue
11 Kay
36 Devitt
9 Quigley
10 Hardcastle
12 Lillis
14 James Jones
16 Beadling
30 Bramall (loan) (aged 22)
33 James
5 Platt
Ndjoli (aged 23)

Under 21s (DOB after 01/01/1999) not counted within squad cap of 22:
31 Thomas (loan) (*aged 20)
Goodridge (loan) - (*aged 21)
Sea (*aged 19)
Wilson (*aged 21)
Maloney (GK) (*aged 20)

So...that leaves 4 places between these lads, with 4 being left out:
Brown
Barry
Mike Jones
Hird
Jason Taylor
Ntlhe
Zouma
Gribbin

Burns and CBR loaned out, so clearly not in the 22. Penfold was loaned out to FCUM, but may be back at club now due to suspension of their season.

I'm guessing Connor Brown won't be in the 22 man squad as he's due to be assistant referee in tonights game;-

Referee: Ross Joyce
Assistant Referees: Graeme Fyvie and Conor Brown
Fourth Official : Matthew Parry
Lancashire;- born and bred

Do we know how the pitch is this Morning?
Ground frost here in Ulverston but not a heavy one.

Would have been better sticking with the players we had. Sometimes, its better the devil you know.
There's a lot of hindsight wisdom on here. Wasn't everyone crying out in December for new signings in January?

In any case, it's far too early to tell. Most of the people Jolley has brought in have good experience and seemed well thought of by fans at their previous club.
Take your point Jim but you can also be guilty of bringing in too many new players at once, without the luxury of pre-season.

More chance of my aunt jemmima jumping out her grave at cemi hill than this being on tonight. At least its a good run out for the Exeter coach
