Just need some pop up bar staff and we can reopen the fanzone

It’s certainly a baffling decision to close it mid tournament?

I’m not having the notion that every single trust member is suddenly too busy nor that the new hospitality fella can’t run it, It’s his job isn’t it?

Surely this new lad could have asked for a handful of volunteers or dare I say employed staff on an casual basis ie per game, 12/13 quid per hour & and your phone ringing off the hook.

There must be hundreds of unemployed people who have pub experience & as it’s still mainly bottles/cans it’s not rocket science is it.

Huge opportunity missed here & the away end concessions should be added too before the season starts.

Up at Holker 3 normal lads have managed to organise everything & have around 600/650 shelling out 15 quid each & you don’t get a free pint or a pie…you shell out again for everything so that’s close to 10k per match….before they sell a pint…..

WHERE THERE’s A WILL, THERE’s A WAY…as 3 local lads, Dalton Utd, other amateur clubs & BRLFC are proving…

Why isn’t the Newly employed Hospitality fella all over this….if he was employed to late then either he should have been employed earlier or someone else should have been forward thinking

What stopped the club hiring the training pitch, Setting up a few marquees & a few hundred tables & the screen, have 3 or 4 food trucks paying you to sell their wares.

These amateurs don’t have staffing or supply problems do they!!

It’s troubles me we can’t seem to see the woods for the trees.

Agree Mike, Hospitality manager should be all over this.

On the same level nobody expects you to have knocked up a state of the art mod con changing room facility for the cost of a bag of skips, give the guy a chance to get his feet under the table

Fanzone will sell itself on match days. It’s just a place to grab an ale. Be harder work to attract people there for owt else. If you’re not a Barrow fan, why would you bother when you can just go to the Rugby and already be in town. Probably need to be realistic about non match day potential. There’s pretty much zero passing trade. Barrow fans will support it and that might be enough but the only things flocking there are going to be the seagulls.

New job. Got the experience, should hit the ground running.

Harry may we’ll prove to be a good appointment as Adam said give him a chance. Needs to get to know the area build up local relationships.raise his profile in the area etc etc. This event probably came to soon in his tenure but all being well we will be singing his praises this time next year.

I've not seen anything yet.

All these were in place and doing well. Covid came along, everything stopped overnight, and we are still under some government restriction 15 months later. Companies stopped needing rooms ..no private hire needed. No gin nights etc

Will corporate hospitality be allowed for Bolton game?. What will it look like? Will all restrictions be removed on 19 July? If so its full steam ahead. If not its a rethink. Do the club sell all these packages and then refund..or wait?

If Micheal Portillo was on the box shelling whelks or something, and the remote was slightly out of reach, I probably wouldn’t stretch myself to watch the England game. So I’m probably not best placed for an opinion. But I take your point.

We've just relayed our pitch, which won't have been cheap to do - and you're criticising because we won't have hundreds of tables and people on it, which would completely wreck all the hard work that's been done?

Some people really need to engage their brains before posting.
