I was concerned that we might have got ourselves into a fine mess today without Ollie. But no need to worry, we did very well in what was an entertaining encounter. As others have said, Ellis was outstanding. He's not the tallest of central defenders but he won an amazing amount of ball, especially in the air in the land of the giants.

I'd probably go for Farman as MOTM today; he's made two or three blunders so far this season so credit where it's due after two sensational saves today. Yes, Zanzala was very quiet which is about the only real disappointment from today. He's got something because we've seen it in patches but he needs to raise his levels from what he showed us today.

Finally, Tom White, our unluckiest player of the season . . . excellent once again today, as he was in the early games of the season before he unfortunately found himself sidelined for doing absolutely nothing wrong but suffered the bad luck of seeing the two great prospects of Gotts and Stevens come along. And I am so glad they did join us even though I am so sorry for the unfortunate Tom at the same time.

Got to agree, won everything and definitely MOM today.
He's the one player in the Barrow team who loves it against a team which plays everything in the air. What he doesn't like is playing against passing team with a couple of quick strikers. Today was perfect for him.

Southerners.

Undoubtedly lovely people but know nothing about football.

I’ve only seen two matches so far this season but in both I’ve been disappointed with Zanzala. Is he fully fit because he can only seem to last three quarters of the game IMO. Either that or he’s not interested

With the way that White played today I think he’s done enough to keep his place. Think banks comes back into defence against Vale instead of Jones. White was everywhere in the midfield today. Gives Cooper a headache on who to drop next week but it’s a good headache

It shows what a good team we have with the differing opinions of MoM. Once over it was one outstanding player. Now there are several which shows how far we have come.

Good result

However yet again no care for fans with lack of catering in fanzone, tell me on a Thursday or Friday if the new partnership with local food people arnt turning up or unavailable.
Didn't eat all day,
Might seem like a trivial thing but plenty arriving in the shitzone today looking for food.

Zanzala was either injured or disinterested.
Ellis mom how he gets up to some of their headers I am not sure.
Farman a close second two good saves.
We kept putting the ball in the air and they had quite a few tall players I was sure they would score from a header
We could have lost it last few minutes .
Kenny Jacket will have them up there.
Let's reflect on how short we are of players and still performing.

Lost a lot of points from leading positions already this season, league looks good but imagine if we had held on to these leads…..

what's frustrating is the lack of progress in our "injured" players, we never get any information how well they are getting on in their comebacks, surely a few of them should be nearly back now ?
Example Mike Jones he's beautiful for a year hope I'm wrbut will he ever play for us again as for Devitt!!!!!!!
