Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
Shite,
I Know he scored that goal but our style of play (or lack of it) is just bypassing Rooney. Get it into his feet.
New lads tightened us up at the back.
Taylor need to come off, get gotts on.

Matt Platts been crying out for some experience alongside him in the middle of defence; we’ve signed some and he’s been exiled. Bring him back

How many players standing off for these Hartlepool goals? That’s just basic defending we're not doing.
Apart from a ten minute spell where we looked half decent we’ve been shite overall.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Great start and then total lack of closing down for all of their goals. Don't think there's a way back from this, but you live in hope.

Trouble is Canavan on this showing looks atrocious too. I've seen oil tankers turn quickerHenneysKnee wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 8:42 pm Matt Platts been crying out for some experience alongside him in the middle of defence; we’ve signed some and he’s been exiled. Bring him back

Re: Hartlepool v Barrow match thread
The constant backing off has been punished to the full tonight. It was also the reason for Tranmere’s goal on Saturday, no one closes the edge of the box, and a soft shot trickles past Farman who has been hopeless all season

I'd love to see how many times we've lost possession through unforced errors.
Popular side since '03.

Think we need Brough back at LWB. He can't effect the game from further back. Too many of us not at the races tonight

Crap defence and everyone else is giving away the ball all the time. Apart from that we’re okay.
