We played really well I thought. I did think in the interview with Adam pete wild sounded angry at questions being asked of rotating the team.

He bemoaned having only a 17 man squad but don't we have a fair few players out on loan.

Was that quote that Pete Wild got told to lose games for real.That game could have gone either way tonight.That guy has turned this cub around.Just look where we were in the previous two seasons.I thought the Bluebirds played brilliant tonight.It was a very entertaining tonight.Would people be criticising Pete Wild if Tyrel Waren's goal had gone in instead if hitting the crossbar.I loved their never say die attitude .They never gave up.I m definitely looking forward go next season.More of the same please and we will win more than we lose.

Game that showed our lack of ability to score let us down.
We have had a good season but we are still inconsistent.
Next season will be interesting as we need to replace Mcllend maybe Brough and even Gordon.
Would have nice to been.in with a chance of promotion but our inconsistency needs to be addressed.

Saltcellar . . . just going off the freeze-frame you've given us I would say clearly onside . . . the left foot of George Ray (number 25) looks a lot closer to the 18-yard line than the positioning of the scorer (number 20). But I won't be losing sleep over it as, at the end of the day, we've still had a very decent season, a million miles away from the trauma of the previous two seasons.

I agree it's not worth losing sleep over but as I understand this season's version of the offside law it's not the position of the feet which matter - that's far too sensible - but, rather, the furthest extremity of the body. So, if an attacking player's left ear lobe is beyond the last defender that would be considered offside. In @saltcellar 's image it's just not possible to say one way or the other.
We go back to the infamous Sutton goal for a far more egregious interpretation of the laws.

Great season, though, and I look forward to seeing a thumping win over thems from up north.

We were the better team, Grimsby were very poor. I like Wild,but question his [SwearFilter] answers,to some questions, and sometimes his opinions of player’s abilities, Young and Garner are no where good enough.

Didn't see when the flag went up when I was ar the game but Kay was clearly offside when Young squared the ball to him.
