Thought PWs comments regarding how well we played without the ball were quite significant.

Looking at our early fixtures it strikes me that we won’t see a majority of possession in several of them. Wonder whether PW is particularly mindful of this in his approach to pre-season

We shaded possession stats in less than half a dozen games last season and I don’t think that stat impacted any of our results. Sometimes it appears we are being dominated but its the approach and planned. It got us to 9th with a mixed bag of results against teams in the top 7 which is the nut to crack if we are going to progress higher with this system.

The 4 teams that went up we did badly against - but none of the other 3 play of teams managed to beat us
