Wrexham sold out!

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

Worried they'll take your place next season? Your manager, full of grace as ever, argued on BBC RC on Saturday that because we train in Manchester Carlisle is the only Cumbrian team and, therefore, that the whole of Cumbria should support you. Bless him.
Don't let the old man in.

Quite funny that. 5 games in and no wins.
Let's hope it's a quick return for Simpson and his team

I also heard Simpson continue his passive-aggressive slurring of Barrow on RC and while we have grown accustomed to him running down our club on the radio, he didn't do the likes of Workington and Kendal any favours either. The RC presenter must have been squirming as he drove a massive wedge between Premier League bound Carlisle and the rest of the clubs in the county's football community.
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...

Simpson always seems to be full of spite for some reason.

Now don't you worry my little Chums, Simmo will guide the only real Cumbrian League side safely up the table.
Tell me, which county are you from? Could be a great idea to franchise your club out, then you could go and play in Truro, Barnstable or Torquay or at least somewhere which is a hell of a lot more picturesque, well come on at least you would get bigger crowds.

Yep.
Inside every little man there's a big man fighting to get out.

Just so you’re aware the full squad that have represented Barrow have not trained in Barrow for over 35 years maybe longer. In the Ray Wilkie years in the late 80s early 90s the north east players trained in the North East just the local lads trained in Barrow. The whole squad then met up on the day of the game so what we do now training away from Barrow is nothing new

Cumbrian? :?
Please don't associate us with Cumbria.
Take a look at our club badge - notice something Red on there ;) And it's on all our banners.
Our postcode reads as LA, too.
Cumbria? God forbid! No thanks.

We play our real 'Derby' in a couple of weeks :D
You folks should be hoping for a Workington revival.

I know you Marras are a bit dense but please don't associate us with your god forsaken county.

Don't waste your time on here. Although it's nice to know we still hold your interest ;)

You should be getting your prayer mat out and seeking divine intervention to save you from your impending relegation. I doubt whether Simpson's gonna be able revive you on this occasion.
You'd be better off seeking help from another Carlisle legend. Why not conjure up the ghost of old Bill Shankly to save ya? Coz ya gonna need a miracle!

Yet here you are?

Attempting to annoy the older more traditional representatives in what is called 'Cumbrian football' currently.

Desperately whoring your stagnant husk of a club to some passing American. As threadbare as the carpet in Foxy's.

Simmo gone by Christmas. A silly golf club bore of a man.

You've obviously forgotten he's a World Cup winning manager.

On the one hand, you claim you don't want to be Cumbrian, then you moan when Radio Cumbria supposedly give you less coverage.
You can't have it both ways marra.
