Jim, I'd take those stats with a pinch of salt. You only had to listen to commentary to know we were second best all over the pitch.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: AFC Wimbledon v Barrow, match thread
In that first half they got it tactically bang on. They basically did to Barrow what Barrow do to others at home. They sat deep in 2 banks and allowed us to have the ball. When they moved it forward they were more direct and dangerous. They alos did their homework on Stockton and crowded him out. Newby was our only threat in the first half but he had a mixed game with some poor decisions. But at least he had a go

The high press works they did it superbly but we gifted them two goals. Not sure Farman was to blame for the first think he was holding back for the nod back that never happened and a last ditch header fell to them. Second goal was poor defensively. We huffed and puffed second half to no avail. Two class Farman saves and a brain dead reaction from Proctor who has done us a favour by being missing for three games. Onwards to Tuesday and hopefully we are a different animal.

Wimbledon did to us what we’ve been doing to teams all season.

The big stat there Jim is 23 fouls by Wimbledon.
Most were on Newby, 2 off which resulted in bookings.
They obviously targeted where our danger comes from and we're prepared to stop him at all cost.

Didn't watch it ,but these results will happen ,as much as I want to go up ,we're still learning as a group, if we can keep this squad together add a couple of quality signings, I'm 100% certain we'd be ready!
People have to understand for the budget we have Pete Wild and company are working miracles, so we just need to take every game and see how we go , I'll be gutted if we fail , but I know we're not far off , so onto Tuesday!

I think it is 6 home games and 2 away from late Feb to Easter?
Re: AFC Wimbledon v Barrow, match thread
Need to find some consistency in my opinion. That comfortable gap we had in the playoffs has narrowed right up, there's about 5 or 6 teams in there that will have an eye on those final couple of spots, most if not all have games in hand on us, some of which we've still got to play, including Gillingham twice. Our last third of the season isn't as "favourable" as it may have seemed a few weeks ago, however we are still in a good position to have a real go of achieving something unfathomable.
Popular side since '03.

I'm regarding that red card as a bonus. Game was already done, and at least Proctor won't loom on the horizon for the next three matches.
