Stockpot despatch MK Dons 5 - 0 massively denting the latter's GD. With games in hand we could move to 4th.

Normal service has been resumed in defence as shown by the number of clean sheets..George Ray was brilliant today mopping up lose balls and recycling them.I think the team has at last started to click just at the right time of the season.Cole Stockton was brilliant again,I just hope we manage to make him.our own player next season. Now let,s go and dominate Grimsby on Friday and demonstrate just how good this current Barrow side is.It,s now a very exciting time to be a Barrow supporter.
Onwards and Upwards.

Would be a great signing…..but the form he’s been in means a) Burton will want a big fee and b) plenty other clubs will be interested

Despite what's been said or rumors, clearly worth his weight in gold!

This season is in our own hands for sure.. opportunities don't come often but this is a real opportunity and I just hope we take it!

Getting more points than last season is incredible but I think we are all hungry for more!

Massive well done to the team but an even more massive well done to the folks that follow home and away, you are the heart and soul of what we are are!
Well done all..

In the scheme of things a 1-0 win against Newport might not look that significant. In the context of the season however that’s a fantastic three points.

So tough no matter who we play just like for any of the teams around us. It’s all about cementing a play-off place atm. Today we took a proper step forward in that direction. Great stuff.

10 nil or 1 nil it doesn’t matter 👌

They've dispatched some big teams around us and we made them look ordinary, didn't threaten much at all, felt we could have nicked another but the fact we kept them out and kept a clean sheet without our bigman at the back is a credit to the result and the team today.

The whole team excelled in difficult conditions, the only chance Newport had was when Warren missed the ball and a cross went right through the six yard box ,Spence straight through and Newby had good chances, the back 3 were absolutely rock solid and the midfield were brilliant. It's getting exciting ( and nervous, ) now can't wait for Easter !
Not sure it’s rested yet mind Nige 😂
Both are great players but it’s square pegs in round holes at times!
Whitfield did nothing for me today to warrant keeping Newby out. Pleased Telford had a solid game, a run in minutes will do him wonders. Even if it was harsh to drop Emile after the last few weeks.
Warren did well to stay on for 70.
And no idea how Newport were topping the stats as the in form team! Dreadful today.
Agreed however, exciting times & Barrow's to lose!
Dare we believe.

Everyone needs to bring a friend if possible to the remaining games. Not just Shirley 😉

Whitfield was very poor IMO. He isn't a wing back full stop. He is an out and out winger in a side that plays a flat back 4 but unfortunately for him we don't play that system anymore.

Good win. No ones mentioned him but in my opinion Chester yet again the best player on pitch. Quality.
