so glad we had successful times so you could be repaid for all your efforts in you put in to the club. even though you were the big boss and 'mr chairman' you were such a down to earth great fella.

Stephen Vaughan very nearly caused us to lose our football club before going on to do the same to Chester.He also caused my 7 year old son at the time to lose his football based birthday party which we had already paid for.It was a real sickener having had his party ruined to think I was going to lose the club I had supported all my life.
Little did I know at the time that Brian Keen was working his socks off with his family and associates to put together a rescue package to save our club at the eleventh hour.
That man deserved all the plaudits and more because without him there would have been no more Barrow.AFC.If anyone deserves a permanent memorial somewhere in the ground it is him.
I had the pleasure of meeting him and his son in the General Burgoyne about 18 months ago.As soon as I had an opportunity I thanked him for all he did for our club.He then went on to talk to me about what a roller coaster ride it was with winning the FA Trophy and with our matches against Middlesborough and Sunderland and the thousands.of supporters who went to all those events.
I would just like to say thank you once again and offer my condolences to his family. RiP Brian MR BARROW AFC.
