For me:
1. Our defence is extremely bad - marking is almost non-existent. The goals scored against us are unnecessarily astonishing.
2. We don’t stand attackers up - we track backwards without intent to stop.
3. Our passing is atrocious and too quick. No thought to deliberate placement.
4. There is a lack of desire for individual skill - running and dribbling up the park.
5. We’re a disjointed team - we don’t seem to be aware of each other on the park. Lots of wayward balls and missing positioning.

This is all fundamental stuff and needs to be rectified quickly - or is it too late to keep us up? My glass is half full but evaporation is bugger!

Gallagher wasn’t a cheap option though; looking toward to see who gets a ticket in Tuesday nights team line up raffle

Said it the last 3 games and got pelters.

This is what you get for appointing a charlatan as a manager.

But it’s ok he’s a nice guy. :)

Can't.expect those below us to keep being woeful forever. Simply got to start winning. I don't want to junp the gun but lose Tuesday and the panic alarms will.be sounding so loudly. Gallagher must find an answer

The 3 at the back…it’s like watching Amorim blindly use it at Man U.

It’s damning for Gallagher that either a) he thinks that’s the best system for this team to win matches or b) he doesn’t have the authority to change a set way of playing with direction from Wood.

I think he has inherited a team with collective weak character and any coach would struggle with them. Comment sent in to Radio Cumbria that we haven't played too bad but conceded poor goals - which is the story most weeks.
That doesn't stop you signing a right back his and other people's arrogance over this is going to cost us !

Whilst I agree with what you’re saying, he knew what he was getting into and it is therefore his responsibility to rally them. I don’t have faith in 90% of our squad to pull us out of this and had you asked me if we were going down a month ago, I’d of said no. Now, I feel like I cannot see anything else. Whing wasn’t great, but this is woeful.

Agree it’s not good but now is the time we’ve just got to make home advantage tell. If we go down let’s go down fighting.

Barrow were on a bad run when Whing was sacked. But he is an experienced manager and I had little doubt he'd steer the team to safety. Barrow had 20 points from 19 matches when he left. They've picked up 5 from 9 since. Good Luck for Tuesday night; win at Shrewsbury and things will look less gloomy.

The chairman stated in his interview that we've improved statistically compared to Whing's tenure, which was spun as at least a positive given we've played 3 out of 4 games away from home against top half and promotion chasing sides. But the matter of the fact is, it has garnered a grand total of ZERO points. That comment would wash if we'd picked up a couple of draws in that period.
Popular side since '03.
