Since the start of December to the point when Gallagher was sacked our average goals conceded was over 2 per game. I know Dino has only been in charge for 2 games but that has dropped to 0.5 and his first aim was to stop us conceding so many - we were having to score 3 to get a win. If that turns out to be more than a short-lived aberration we should be OK.

Hard to be positive when you look at the form table!
So don't look at the form table.

We all know we've been poor and inconsistent, there is no need to check exactly how bad we have been.

Good approach. Know that we’ve been poor and inconsistent but don’t check just exactly how bad. 🤣

Oh well, that's messed up that theory.

The way we capitulated under wild he did deserve the boot, at the moment you’d snap your hand off for him back. That’s down to poor recruitment, there is a team here but the confidence is shot to bits
Sorry but there isn't a team here. What we have as bad a set of players that exist in the EFL. I wouldn't want to get into a debate about who is responsible for recruitment as I don't know but whoever it was or whoever they were, he or they are completely clueless in his or their evaluation of a footballer.
It’s hard to argue with you after that. Mentality and quality are different things, I think on paper they are all good players but they’ve stunk the place out this year

14 Games left to go.
Hey, ya never know-if the club can get a RFB in who knows what he's doing then it might just inspire others in the squad to up their determination.
Come on, stay positive - not done yet, not by a long chalk.

A right back will be handy. But it won’t change we only play for 45 minutes

That's usually down to fitness. A football player is well payed for what he does and we get moans about getting tired playing two games a week!
Diddums do!

The supporters who watch them do real work, not the overpaid prima donnas, so fingers out and play for 90 minutes.

Surely if the manager wants to play a back 4 there must be 1 RB on a free out there who could play for us ?

This season has all the hallmarks of the year we played Chester? Last game of the season who had already been relegated and we lost but due to other results going our way we survived and who do we play the last game this season? Newport who potentially could be relegated 🙄
I'd happily stay up on the last day but feel its gonna be long few weeks

It’s got that bad, that this morning I looked at the National League North and South tables to see which teams potentially could be getting promoted into the National League next season. That thought alone horrified me about where we soon might be visiting. So here goes with the positives. Amazingly despite our poor points return we’re still not in the bottom two, and we have games in hand, if this was a normal season we’d be well adrift by now. So we still have hope. We’ve all got to play our part now, especially us fans and just hope the next 14 games result in us staying up. The team have got to mentally man up. I have no doubt they have the ability but do they have the fight is an altogether other matter.

If it comes down to the last day whilst some individuals are up for a fight, others aren't and my feeling at the moment is we'd bottle it.
Dino isn't afraid to call players out but currently our injuries list means some are playing irrespective of whether they are ar$ed or not.Unless we get more fighters we're going down.
Get some ar$es kicked, Dino.

Dino has the team he has.
When Brown took over it was not that we improved it's the fact that teams below us were worse ,that happened. previously when in the National League.
Chester had financial problems and could only field a youth team.
We were at home and a win would give us a chance of staying up.
Woking were at Dover and had a resurgence a win would keep them up.
The Chester youth team wiped the floor with us ,so we have had poor players before...
Woking expecting to win actually got beat at Dover and that kept us up

Dino will turn this team around it's just if it's in time.
Kelly got results when he came back so it's possible.

I am full of interpretation but we have the time i if we want it enough.
If we go down it's our own fault .
Think Stanway needs dropping for his own benefit.

I dont agree with all the 'Stanway needs dropping' brigade, yet. The lads more than capable as he has proved time and time again. But the more he's put under pressure for the sake of what should be more capable in front of him, he's bound to make the odd error.
Again, Dino has another full week to work with the team and get his strategies across. With another few games, a possible new signing and injuries returning etc - reasons to be cheerful, part two.

If he's the best of the 3 and has acknowledged he was at fault for goals then I see no reason not to stick with him but unless the lad who posted a comment on the Barrow WS interview was messing around then I'd be very worried about his attitude. The comment basically said he's saying "we are getting relegated" while he is in the gym with mates. Young lad with his mates can say silly things and could possibly be someone trying to cause trouble but if true, its the wrong attitude to have.
