According to that link to their local rag the attendance was 197, is that right?

Could very well have been, they kept saying on the radio how small the crowd was.

The good thing about the team over the past few games is that we have a young enthusiastic squad of players who are growing in confidence and clearly playing for each other.
Hopefully this is a start, as they gain experience, to go onto greater things. If they stay together they have the potential to achieve so much.
The management team must get the credit for creating the atmosphere and the tactics for the recent success.

Another memorable night on our long travels last night, taking all the points on offer at Oxford. Special thanks to Lou who kindly offered his services as chauffeur for the evening a selfless task, well done that man!!! Was served some sort of vinegar ale akin only to sarson's in their bar, quickly moved onto the bottled version of Oxford Gold sorted, not that their fans seemed to mind it though!

The game itself was another sterling effort from the Lads working selflessly for each other, what a howler for the goal though!

Around fifty plus of the happy and smiling Barrow travelling army witnessed another great win then ventured back to the many corners of the Uk. Baz Arnison taking on some of the Barrow players at ping pong in the Bar after the game was a priceless memory also!! "Bluebirrrrds"

Brilliant photo.
I pretty much forgot to celebrate the goal. I was too busy mocking the afflicted keeper along with everyone else.

I must admit I felt a bit sorry for the 'keeper; not for the goal, but just from the point of view that he couldn't have had any confidence in back four in the first half. After about the fourth or fifth backpass in the first five-ten minutes had put him under pressure, I thought "in these conditions, they're going to really futz this up sooner or later". As it turned out it was sooner!

Aren't Oxford City the team whose first choice goalkeeper injured himself trying to rescue a cat out of a tree? No wonder their manager was so annoyed with him, his deputy is clearly shambolic.

After one day online that video on YouTube has had more views than all the other home games Oxford have put on this season.
Can't think why.
