cracking win , 2 wins on the bounce- happy Easter ! kid Williams is class, great goal, well done Jase , always grafting for the Bluebirds !

Some good performances from the players that are on the "maybe" list for next season: Walker and Harvey both got stuck in, and Haworth got a good assist and looks like he's more willing to get stuck in too.
Williams didn't actually have that much impact on the game but his quality is obvious, especially in his finish.
Halifax were relegation material though.
Adding goals to a solid defence, and we're actually on course for that mid-table finish that some on here scoffed at in August.

Was an excellent finish from Walker. We got away with it as he was offside by at least a yard when he was played in. The assistant was out of line so probably couldn't tell and let it go. Walker deserved man of the match, worked his socks off, got a goal and an assist.

Tomlinson's finish was cool as you like, Walker the provide. Halifax committing the cardinal sin of not having a spare man back on the half way line while taking a corner. Barrow broke and Walker 1 on 1 on the halfway line flicked it over the last player on the halfway line with Tomlinson still in the Barrow half. Tomlinson ran onto it and rounded one of the tallest keepers I've seen up here this season. Slotted in from wide on the right.

The other 2 goals from Jordan Williams and Cook were also well taken, Howarth worth a mention for his cross on the latter.

12 games ago we lost narrowly 1-0 to Halifax in the Trophy, since then it has been 1 defeat in 11 in the league. That 1 defeat at home to a Cheltenham side that only just hung on for the 3 points at the end of that game. Top form going into the end of the season, only if. Looking good if we get similar next term.

What a cracking weekend it has been, two wins for Barrow and one for England in Germany. I think the feelgood factor is back at last and the future looks rosy. On the down side why is the home vocal support nonexistent lately?

A good all round performance with ARH making his 150th appearance for Barrow AFC and he and Jordan Williams put in noteworthy shifts. Jase the ace reached another milestone marking his 250th appearance with a well taken goal as was Cookies, they all put the graft in but it all starts with a solid platform at the back and we were resolute for the most part. Glad to hear Danny Livesey was only replaced due to a sickness bug and not injured because we are a far better unit at the back when he's on the field.

Missed Tommos goal as I had to take the lad to work. Onward to Aldershot Town and hopefully another workman like performance will reap it's rewards.

I think the above posts were being rightly sarcastic as we've heard about walkers 250th quite a few times today over the PA system.

we now a lot look fitter and stronger since getting rid of the old fitness.,coaching and physio staff.
