Listened to a really good interview with Mike Ingham (The voice of 5 live) and it was really interesting to hear the differences between TV and Radio commentators and how much of a fine art it is to do radio commentary well. It seems obvious but there are so many more skills required for radio commentary that TV commentators don't require.
I actually thought of Adam during this interview and comparing him to previous Barrow commentators and have to say that he is superb (and I am not saying this because I know he will read it

). I live in Germany so have had to rely heavily on the radio over the past 7+ years. Knowing where the ball is as an especially important example, is very difficult and Adam does that superbly and less waffle as well. I remember one game previously where the commentator at the time basically talked about the Dutch not qualifying for a major tournament for around 10 minutes (it seemed) or they would be talking about nothing and then suddenly say something like, oh great save or a chance from a corner and we never even knew it was a corner to start off with.
Goodwin is chalk and cheese, I think sometimes it depends what mood he or I am in as to whether it is good to listen to or not
Anyway, keep up the good work and know that you are very much appreciated, especially by us Ex-Pats.
