Today was always going to be a difficult task. At least we conceded in the 28th minute so no gnashing of fingernails.

As I see it next four games will determine Clemences fate. That would give us 23 games and most of the Jan window to steady the ship.

But what's Clemences plan? We keep possession but little else, we're in BIG trouble anyone who thinks different is kidding themselves!

Not quite sure it's that bad Nige. A couple of wins and we are back in top half!
We set off flying and why that's changed is anyone's guess??
We have got everything right but the goal scoring.. SC and Co need some big [SwearFilter] striker and at least see if he can find the form and points we were getting early in the season.
Chucking in the towel is fine when we are getting battered and bottom of the league, I just don't think we are as bad as that..
See what happens come February/March and then maybe make decisions.

Let's not loose sight of the fact that we have just played the leagues in form and league leaders! We didn't get hammered, we got beat yesterday but we're they miles better than us? NO, they scored one more goal than us..ONE goal!
Our set up is half decent, we just need a couple up front who knows how to score.

It’s frustrating as I really don’t think we are a bad side. ….. or I don’t know if I’m in some denial because I know what the form table is telling me based on facts.

If that's the case then Clemence has to go because he doesn't know what team to pick, constantly changing personel.
He told us that we'd love the way his team would play so based on that he's either a good salesman or not a good motivater or tactician!

We have matched them today and others previously.. we just can't score. The guys we have are just not good enough.
They really are not up to this standard and lack hunger and that's why I would rather see all of them moved on and we start again.

Lacking confidence especially in the box as stated repeatedly. I'm still trying to fathom why Spence didn't shoot when that cross came in in the first half and instead chose to pass it to Feely! He was woeful today Spence in his general play and decision making. Why the manager didn't sub him was puzzling.

We definitely need to find players who can create things in the final third.It,s no good saying they score in practice,they need to start doing it in games otherwise the bottom.of the league will.loom large.We need big players up front so we don,t get dominated by the opposition. Our players seem to shrink in the final third when they come up against big physical defenders.There is also too much indecision when our players are there,that is where the problem lies.

If any of you have played the game, you need confidence in your strikers from a midfielders pov.. the strikers need intelligence to find the space, to make the moves..

I think that's our problem, we know once we let that ball go on attack that we will loose possession, we will then be on the back foot and scrapping again..

Aquas first touch is like that of a fairy elephant.. Garner is about as enthusiastic as a stale piece of bread, Dallas hardly sets the world in fire and Telford... Well we all know..

Sorry for making a comparison with Cook or Quigley, Walker, Kay even, but they played with passion that sometimes overflowed but we need that now. It doesn’t matter if they are 23 or 33. All attack minded players need that something extra. Sorry for the comparisons but it’s what we are missing. If we bring anyone in January they’ve got to have that something to make things happen, not just technical ability
