Grimsby had 70% possession and 19 shots (6 on target) to Harrogate's 6 (3 on target). Not sure whether that says Harrogate were lucky or brilliant.

Great point against a very good team who will likely be in league 1 next season. 4 points from two matches against the top two who would’ve thought that after Grimsby and Salford. Yes a shame that Harrogate are picking up points but Tranmere continue to be in free fall and we can only do our bit which finally, seems to have registered with the players and they are starting to do the basics. Carry on doing that and we’ve got a chance but why’s it taken so long?!

I thought they had enough points, they always seemed to only need a few more points but if they lose again Monday they are right in it

Giving me hope. Let's hope they can keep us up. I have not forgiven anyone for the poor performances this season, they have been terrible to watch all season. Taking money under false pretenses

Had to settle for the tv today. We rode our luck at times mostly caused by mistakes first half but defended well when needed most with some great stops by Stanway in the game too and one howler but last ditch defending saved the day.
They created plenty but flattered to deceive in front of goal for the most part. The two banks of four, five at times seemed to work a treat I wonder if that was Mr Coghlan’s influence. The formation gave us little chance to be on the front foot and when we did the ref gave our attack no protection whatsoever. But we created one big chance that went just wide. A solid point on the road against title contenders

A good point, but what may be even more important will be the confidence this will instil in the team.

Feels like a win to be honest. I was expecting two points at the absolute best from Bromley and MK, a return which turns out would've probably ended up being curtains for us. We've strung a couple of results together against top sides, let's hope for a decent gate in decent weather on Monday.

It’s a good point as a one off result , but in context of where we are, we need to back it up - is all I mean.

What a week. Class. Plenty of twists and turns left in the season but it’s looking like we can defend again! Was convinced we’d be a different side with smith and Williams back and it’s looking like that prediction is correct.

I cannot believe the criticism on here.People seem to forget,for a lot of this season we had a lot of our first team players out injured.We then had a succession of managers ,Andy Whing included who played a lot of the players out of position.Comments on here have said exactly that,so come on give Sam Foley and his assistant a bit of credit for trying to put it right.It can't have helped to keep asking our players to play in a position where they knew they couldn,t perform at their best.This then led to lack of confidence in their own ability.Hopefully this new management team have given them the confidence from.now on to turn in winning performances.We will find out on Monday against Chesterfield.If we win that one we may indeed survive to fight another season in the EFL.
