Early in the season PW was on the radio with Ryan Lowe at PNE and there was discussion - only half-joking - that there could be players that might come on loan to us. Lowe clearly respected what Pete was trying to achieve and his general approach.

Yes Lowe was impressed with Pete & kinda said he does everything in the right way & would trust him with any surplus players & that he’s one of the best up & coming gaffers

After seeing Preston play a couple of weeks ago I don't think I would want any of them from there.

Mind you they are also supposedley in for every playerin L1/2 who has scored a few goals as Ollie Palmer is struggling with a niggling injury, Andy Cook is apparently top of the list at the moment.

I know that Pete Wild mentioned the possibility of another player coming in, but IMO the squad now looks complete. I certainly don't think we need another forward (at least not with a record like the latest chap) .

Garner has always been going back to Carlisle either this window or the summer to join his fellow ex Preston team mate and Carlisle born Huntington. Its well known in Carlisle the pair have had new homes built in the area for when their playing days are over.
